Whatever you may feel about the (as yet not clinically proven in trials) potential of hydroxychloroquine, there is absolutely nothing right about what he has done. He has used this well-publicized potential combined with people's fears to profit off a pandemic, fraudulently presenting it as a "100% effective" "preventative and cure".

And that's not all. His "concierge medicine experience", costing $3,995 per family, also includes azithromycin, Xanax and Viagra - utterly irresponsible and potentially deadly.

You agree that he should be "dealt with" but be aware that he is being dealt with for mail fraud - using the Postal Service to facilitate a fraudulent scheme - not smuggling, the penalties for which include up to 20 years in prison. And quite rightly.

There have been no clinical tests of Ivermectin for Covid, might as well just give any other antiviral. Remdesivir and plasma treatments are given intravenously, perhaps you think it's a DIY procedure

Sorry but no actual evidence to support any effectiveness whatsoever! Nothing wrong with going on hope but science is an entirely different process.

Who knows or who cares what he is charged with exactly. It doesn't mean it will be all he's charged with... Geeze, we agree he's slime, right? The point is, it doesn't change the efficacy of the drug, does it?

And? Your point? THey can all be ordered by the doctor. Whether the patient swallows or gets it in the vein, how does that make any difference in the topic we're all debating here? You're really losing it.

That's idiotic. There is a lot of evidence. There may not be clinical proof of a randomized, double-blind, peer-reviewed, study, but there's plenty of evidence.

The cure for ignorance is information. I’m prescribing this...
    https://www.mcguirewoods.com/news-resources/publications/health_care/off_label.pdf

    https://journals.lww.com/neurotoday...id_Malpractice_Risks_When_Prescribing.12.aspx

From one of the links, it’s thought half of prescribed drugs in the US are off label. It’s not illegal, immoral, or unethical. It’s normal.

Says who? You? Please go ahead and prove your negative.

Or, watch a few hundred of these:
    https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=hydroxychloroquine+saved+my+life&qpvt=hydroxychloroquine+saved+my+life&FORM=VDRE

Or read about TWO Democrat representatives in Michigan espousing Trump and Hydrochloroquine.

Or read a doctor explain that even anecdotal data becomes significant when there's enough of it and that, for hydroxychloroquine, there is enough of it.

Or, coincidentally, yet another Michiganian who recovered due to hydroxychloroquine and is now openly calling out Michigan's governor for not having the interest of Michigan as she continues her campaign to be loved by those who hate Trump.

Even your post says "if any". I guess one life isn't enough?

How do you know nothing has changed? US doctors prescribe hydroxychloroquine 50% as often as doctors around the world, mostly waiting for serious conditions rather than early enough to avoid serious conditions so, in the US, we're not seeing as dramatic results as the rest of the world - and why aren't doctors prescribing more, earlier? Cuomo, Sisolak, Whitman. And political pressure from the likes of you.

The virus reports have been changing every week - progressing toward a peak or, according to some, past a peak, or whatever. It's not stable and not steady and, really, not even predictable.

There is no way you can support with facts or numbers that nothing has changed. If in some city, for example, deaths went up by a hundred, how do you know deaths would not have gone up by 500? Not being the doctor of a single patient, you don't know what helped save any patient.

I was going to give you yet another list of people for whom things actually did change according to them and their actual doctors, versus Internet experts, but you've seen the lists; I and others have given plenty of them. You're just denying what's right in front of you because Orange Man Bad.

There is no double-blind study that indicates any benefit of this, as far as I am aware.

I spoke with a friend who is in the pharma industry on the weekend. He says the double blind studies that he is aware of indicate that this is little better than a placebo. Other drugs - anti-retrovirals - show promise, but this one doesn't.
Anecdotes don't really mean much in the real world.

Just look at the number of unresolved cases. That's the number that hasn't resulted in death or recovery. It's really low and we HAVE been using this drug. Oh well.

That's absurd. That kind of logic would have people buying elephant repellent in Montana. Ya know it works because hey....ya don't see many elephants in Montana. Without that repellent they might be over running the STATE!

if it was the miracle cure, we would all know by now, so far it seems more like a placebo as no real effect differing from those that do not take it

would love it to have been, but doesn't seem to be so

there are a few others with potential in testing, let's hope one works

there is also a old vaccine in testing, that would be great too

So, why post anything that is negative towards even the possibility of it working in some cases unless of course you have an agenda.
In my world, if Hillary Clinton invented a medication that had even a partial positive effect on the Chinese virus, I would shut up and let it do its thing. Maybe some a lot here should do the same.

If you give a placebo to the whole of a selected group infected with the virus you will find that the cure rate will be higher than that seen in the rest of the population infected. Why? Because in studies, the valuable subjects are cared for more and monitored greater than they would be in the general population. And the conclusion would be that the placebo worked. This is why you need a control group in any study

I’ve said the same about various “miracle cures” that seem to be anything but. Sorry if accuracy bothers you.

and I highly doubt you would credit Clinton for anything

Accuracy does not bother me a bit but when it comes to pandemics, people with a political agenda always amuse me because they cannot resist the urge make a fool of themselves. Especially the complainers.

Miracle Cure? Maybe, but that's not the claim. The claim, by thousands who have received the medication, is that their symptoms were gone within hours of taking their first dose. The claim, is that virtually every doctor in NYC that is treating coronavirus disagrees with you and your fellow Internet medical experts because it is being given to virtually every hospitalized patient in NYC.

For all of you Trump haters who continue to deny the evidence and quote what someone told someone who told you (hardly a double-blind study, right) you're shameful. You have blood on your hands every time a doctor is not allowed to prescribe the medicine and someone dies.

Wow. That’s complete bull ****. I watch local NYC news every day and that is NOT what doctors are saying. I know several people who have been hospitalized with the virus. They all got hydroxy and they’ve all been sick for weeks
I know one guy who had a milder three day case that didn’t get hydroxy. Had he been given it you would have claimed that hydroxy was the reason it was so mild
