After Zalensky made a plea to Vladimir Putin to hold talks in Donbass and end the fighting, Putin invited Zalensky to Moscow for talks on bilateral relations amid increased tensions. First though he must speak to the break away republics without any third parties present, and that includes Russia

“I urge you, Mr. Zelensky, not to invite the leaders of third countries to the line of contact, but rather to go there yourself for an honest and open conversation with us,” said Denis Pushilin, the leader in Donetsk.

“And if we are talking about the development of bilateral relations, then, please, we will receive the president of Ukraine in Moscow at any time convenient for him,” Putin said. “If President Zelensky wants to start restoring relations, Russia will only welcome it.”

“Ukraine and Russia, despite their shared past, look to the future in different ways. We are us. You are you,” Zelensky said. “But this is not necessarily a problem; it is an opportunity. At the very least, an opportunity, before it is too late, to stop the murderous mathematics of future war losses.”

Pushing Putin's agenda again, are we?

Russia is responsible for destabilizing Ukraine. Russians arm, train and fight beside the "separatists" in Donbas. President Zelensky wanted to talk to Putin about Russia's involvement there, but of course Putin is playing tsar and won't have it, insisting instead that Zelensky negotiate with the people he's arming, training and militarily supporting while pretending otherwise. It's all a power play on Putin's part.

Putin likes to destabilize neighboring countries while pretending to be a peace broker, with the negotiated peace ultimately delivering what Russia set out to take in the first place. Clever and all, but not right and not acceptable.

DPR is a hell hole.....whomever ends up with this rump of a $hithouse ultimately loses.

As much as I hate to say this(and I do).....shedding this Krym thing, and the jury is still out on Dumbass....ooops,Donbas, is a blessing in disguise for Ukraine....itgets rid of this pro Russian thing and makes Ukraines ascension to NATO/EU that much easier....Crimea was a money drain....a billion plus was tossed into the Putinka loyal bunghole.....most of the allocated $$$ went missing....probably skimmed off by the likes of that asiatic razgul Aksyonov and stashed in "cursed" western banks.....no different than DPR....a rusted craphole of a Mafia Muscovian $hitpit.

I answered your gibberish in another thread, but I'll repeat it here:

Washington, might want the fighting in Ukraine to continues, but it's not what Zalensky and the Ukrainian people want.

A few days ago, a Russian base 45 km from the Ukrainian border was sabotaged and caught on fire. When Putin said that Russia's answer to any attack from now on, will not be in equal measure as it was in the past, but with a much greater force, he really meant it.

According to witnesses, there was a large fire at the Ukrainian base in the Ukrainian part of Lugansk, and before the fire they heard large explosions.

According to international media, the fire reached the weapons depots and immediately spread to the buildings next door as well as the fuel tanks that supply the military vehicles.

Personally, I hope that if there were casualties, that they were the nationalists/Nazis who would fully deserve anything they get, and not the conscripts that Poroshenko had always used for cannon fodder.

Maybe, but with Russia militarizing the hell out of Crimea, that's a significant national and regional security issue. Russia wants control of the Black Sea more than they want Ukrainian territory per se, but that is why they're gobbling up Ukrainian territory (and Georgian territory). Their recent China-like assertions of military control over international waters there demonstrates what they are after. They can effectively contain Ukraine and other powers in the area, and they can (try to) shut NATO out of the sea completely. And there may be other even greater aims beyond this. Having the Black Sea will no doubt help them expand further if they want to.

Why is "gibberish" in your post also a Bing link? That's kind of weird.

I don't think they can close off the entire Black Sea....especially with Nato states around(that's intl waters) unless they're going with the idea of some sort of incursion INTO a Nato state....which would be catastrophic and wouldn't end well for the Kremlin hobbit.

You're funny! So tell me, is it projection on your part, or are you a follower of the Satanist Saul Alinsky and deliberately accusing Russia of what Washington does to confuse people?

    Projection, projection,
    it's what some do.
And cannot see what's right and true.
But only see themselves in you.

Yet they should know that what they say,
reflects on them in a bad way.
For others not a fool will be
    to fall for their projectory

OK, so maybe their aim isn't quite that big. But he does seem to want to control more of the Black Sea coast.

Why do you mock Vladimir Putin's height, when he's 2 inches taller than Zalensky?

The Black Sea shouldn't have anything to do with Nato, it's controlled by Turkey according to the Montreaux Treaty. All visiting ships from nations that do not border on the Black Sea, have to notify Turkey 14 days in advance and get permission. Also only a certain amount of tonnage is allowed, and they can only stay for a certain amount of days.

What Russia does have control of because of Crimea, is the entrance to the Azov Sea. What Moscow wants is for Ukraine to solve its own problems with the break away Republics and to better its relations with Russia. This is why Putin invited Zalensky.

Turkey's expansionism and intransigence, is Russia's real problem - as it is for all the other nations in the area. 150 former Turkish admirals told Erdogan not to mess around with the Montreaux Treaty since it is the only thing that has kept them out of wars. And also not to build a canal to bypass the Treaty. I think the admirals were arrested.

Hmmm...now that Navalvy has ended his hunger strike, he needs a cell-mate. I believe if I were Zalensky, I'd respectifully decline. Maybe Vienna?

Oh, then Washington and the media are not accusing Russia for anything and everything, it's Russia that's accusing us?

(Looks like the Satanist Saul Alinsky is as alive and well in our media, as he is in politics.)

If Russia wanted better relations with Ukraine, it wouldn't try to control its government and economy. Above all, Putin doesn't want a functioning democracy in Ukraine and to have Ukraine in the EU and/or NATO.

You know you're losing when you fall back to blaming Satan and Satanists [IMG]

Russia is blamed for the things Russia does, nothing more.

Russia has been a safe haven for many Ukrainians that would have been killed by the nationalists otherwise, so why should Zalensky decline the invitation? He's not on any Russian wanted list for killing Ukrainians? Zalensky's only crime was that he wasn't able to follow through on the Minsk Agreement because of the Nazis in control.

As for Navalny, don't you find it strange that the media pays so much attention to a traitor on a foreign payroll who has only a 2% following in Russia, while no attention is being paid to the top journalist in the world Assange, when he's been tortured and is dying in a British jail?

How about giving a few links to substantiate what you say, because you have never been right in anything. The Ukrainians have never stopped attacking Donetsk until now that their camp blew up.

Ukraine had a functioning democracy before Barack Obongo pulled off the 2014 coup. Victor Yanukovych was the last legitimately elected President of 'Ukraine'.

Seriously, these Joseph Goebbels tweedle dee and tweedle dumb propaganda comments are getting old.

No, but it does have a functioning democracy now, and that bothers Putin quite a little bit.

You don't substantiate what you claim, other than to post fake news from various sources of Russian propaganda.

    But sure, here you go:

You'll never get anyone on this forum to admit Obama, Biden, and Hillary staged that coup. Wikileaks published the US State dept. cables that prove it, but they go right on denying it happened.

Serious, you can't be so clueless. If you claim the Donbass is part of Ukraine, then you have to let them vote.....and that's not happening. Your posts are like Rachel Madcow level propaganda.
