Trump wants to try to put one over the American people but if he does that the principle that no one is above the law is nullified and anyone anywhere can simply declare they are running for office and all indictments will be dropped

candidates for office have been indicted and charged but not by an administration of the opposite party. A special prosecutor appointed by an AG of the existing regime against a candidate of the opposition party for the same office would be unprecedented and poisonously divisive. Trump has suggested potentially running again since his first post Presidency rally. The more the regime is talking about charging him the more certain we are to nominate him for that office. We will go to the mat for Trump in such an event come what may no matter the cost.

 

Unless your name is Clinton? Then the FBI will arbitrarily decide not to prosecute you and the DNC majority senate will decide perjury, obstruction of justice and failing to pay your taxes are not "High crimes and misdemeanours"?

A regime engaged in locking up its potential opposition in the next election on trumped up political charges will create unrest in this country the likes of which will not be good.
