yeah. the courts will strike a balance between the police powers states had before incorporation and the prohibition on laws that prevent keeping and bearing arms after incorporation. I believe shall issue licenses do not violate "keeping and bearing arms"

GOD! I'm so glad I live in Texas where all these arguments have ben long settled and we don't have to waste time in endless discussion about them. We have "Constitutional Carry" where any legal gun owner can carry open or concealed... no waiting periods... no magazine capacity restrictions... no "red laws"... just LIBERTY!!!!

One person's experience does not invalidate the experience of many others.

I feel much better knowing that she can pick up a handful of steel when needed then picking up a phone and hoping for the best.

The courts have already straight up ruled that the cops have no obligation to protect you. In this world it is your own responsibility to look after your own safety as a grown person.

Me and mine choose the best tool to do so but you can feel free to depend on a broom or a cell phone or whatever it is you think is better.
