British PM Boris Johnson to lay out Ukraine action plan ensuring "Putin must fail"

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will lay out a six-point plan of action on the Russia-Ukraine war during meetings with Canadian, Dutch, and Central European leaders next week.

Johnson is set to tell his counterparts they must come together under his plan to ensure Russian President Vladimir Putin "fails in his ambition,” according to a Downing Street news release on Saturday.

The plan, according to the news release, calls on countries to mobilize “an international humanitarian coalition for Ukraine, support Ukraine in its efforts to provide its own self-defense and maximize the economic pressure on Putin’s Russia.”

According to the news release, the plan also calls on the UK’s partners to “prevent the creeping normalization of what Russia is doing in Ukraine, pursue diplomatic paths to de-escalation but only on the basis of full participation by the legitimate government of Ukraine and begin a rapid campaign to strengthen security and resilience across the Euro-Atlantic area."

“Putin must fail and must be seen to fail in this act of aggression," the release said. "It is not enough to express our support for the rules-based international order – we must defend it against a sustained attempt to rewrite the rules by military force.”​

Sky News team under heavy fire as ambushed in Ukraine this week

The devastation and destruction rained down on Ukraine by the Russian forces has taken many civilian lives.

President Putin insists that only military targets are being attacked but many ordinary people, often trying to flee the violence, have been killed.

How that happens was made terrifyingly clear to one of our Sky News teams reporting from there this week.

Russian forces were nowhere to be seen as Stuart Ramsay’s team carefully drove through a town near Kiyv on Monday afternoon.

But, without warning, they came under heavy and sustained gunfire from what the Ukrainians believe to be a Russian reconnaissance squad.

Incredibly Stuart, his producers, Dominique Van Heerden, Martin Vowles and Andrii Lytvynenko and his camera operator Richie Mockler escaped with their lives.

Sky News has decided to tell the story of what happened to show the sheer scale of the mayhem and violence as the Russian invasion enters a new, and very deadly phase. The team are now safely back in the UK.​

The neo cons wanted a war between Russia and Ukraine with the hope the Russan people would overthrow Vladimir Putin and it would break their relation with China as well as break up Russia - which was always their plan.

What they didn't realize is that Vladimir Putin represents the Russian people, and they were a little annoyed with his pacifism and that he wasn't doing enough to protect the faith, heritage, language and culture of the Russians in Ukraine. Well he proved them wrong now didn't he?

 

I know almost all of you don't give a about the truth in Ukraine but this Chilean that lives in Kharkiv knows exactly what the hell is going on in Ukraine. Not American, not Ukrainian, not Russian, not from some irrelevant country in Western Europe, he's Chilean and speaks perfect English.
