The unadulterated gall of these idiots. McConnell, Rubio, Graham, and many other republican lawmakers who have been telling the American public that the pandemic is a hoax, and that its no big deal, and that Masks dont work, are all butting over to the front of the line to get their vaccine FIRST. They are getting it before front line workers, for what they have been telling you is no big deal, and that you should go to work, and send your kids to school.Think about that for a few seconds.......

We are finding out what the real “healthcare system” in this country is for, and is about. It’s for people with money, and with power. There was a story today about a hospital in Michigan who prioritized their Administrative staff FIRST, then second was attending physicians, who for the most part are FaceTiming from home with residents who are in the room with the patient.....and the ultimate Irony, is that the residents and nurses aren’t even in the first wave to get the vaccine.

But hey, please vote for these hypocrites again, and make sure you donate to the saveamericapac.

No surprises there. EVERYTHING is calibrated for the rich and powerful.

Well that vaccine is turning out to be not as safe as they thought which is what happens when you Rubber stamp approval of an untested vaccine.

I think it's a bit poetic that the ones who got it made are taking it first.

When their face goes into paralysis because of this stuff I will not really feel any sympathy.

I heard today that they have already had to begin work on a cure for the vaccine in case it turns out to be as dangerous as they think it will.

What are you talking about? The only adverse effect was some local onsite discomfort that dissipated within a few hours and some allergic reactions that are minor. It has been tested and considering we are losing over 3000 lives per day, we should be damn grateful to have the vaccine.

Those that are in the high risk groups should get it early both for their safety and as role models to encourage all to get it when available. By definition Republican Senators are ALL in a high risk category, most are over 65 and they all suffer from a contributing preexisting condition, the mental disorder of being a Republican Senator.

Mind you when you see the stats you might agree they are more at risk but in reality this is because guess who DIDN’T follow the advice of the experts

You're right, it doesn't seem fair but on the other hand it seems any one working on 'The Hill' is a front line worker when you consider the danger being spread throughout by trump and his followers.

One man's "lead by example" is another man's "cutting to the front of the line", I guess.

Face it, if Republicans were NOT getting vaccinated they'd still be getting criticized, the leftwinger tune would just change to a version of "they're anti-science" and "they want people to be afraid of the vaccine".

Is there anything the Democrats won't spin and politicize?

Not saying your wrong, but can you cite where these republican lawmakers such as McConnell, Rubio and Graham called COVID a hoax?

I think clearly showing this is relevant as I do not recall them making suck a claim.

Wasn't it Biden that said that rushing a vaccine was unsafe and he doesn't trust Trump's rush to get a vaccine out and he also hasn't taken the vaccine to date??

Ironic how the left was against the Trump vaccine before they were for it.

More importantly please point out where any of the Republican leaders showed, by example what should be done in relation to reducing risks

Plenty of experts and Democrats said Trump was a crazy liar for even mentioning we could have a Vaccine before the end of the year. And now these same people forget they said it. Or pinnacles of leadership like Cuomo admitted they wouldn’t trust it. That attitude changed quickly after Biden won. How strange??

They went to the hair salon, they got caught attending parties, and they got caught going to restaurants. Oh wait, that was Democrats ;)

Seriously, get out of the leftwing bubble and you will find a gazillion examples of Republicans (including Trump) wearing masks and promoting masks and social distancing. The fact that you're unaware shows how much your media sources are failing you.

Well, it had never been done before and you MIGHT have had it sooner if the WHO funding had allowed it to continue to support the research

but guess who pulled out of that?

You do a nice two step.

No, it's not 'more importantly', it was a direct question.

I'm actually pretty okay with this. I want him to have a vaccine to convince others to take the vaccine. We need Democrats and Republicans to convince others to take the vaccine. The only problem I have is did he publicize this enough to convince others to take the vaccine?

Biden said he wouldn't take a vaccine T**** approved but would take one that Dr. Faucci approved.

McConnell, Rubio and Graham have enabled Trump with his anti-science, economy first covid policies that created the dismal US record of 20% of the world's covid deaths while having only 5 % of the population. Now, they are the first in line to get the vaccine. Hypocrites, all of them....

What would have been better is if the over 65 senators took it and the younger ones said they'd take it when it became widely available but until then it should be for the most at risk. Rubio should have not gotten it.
That's what Obama did, after the most at risk for death from H1N1, children, the elderly and pregnant women he went and got his publicly and encouraged everyone else to do the same.

OP pointed out where they are getting the vaccine... Isn't that the initial step?

While I think it is pathetic that all those who called the virus a hoax are jumping the line to receive the virus, I think it might have a positive effect in that constituents may not be as ignorantly fearful of the vaccination.

And I also think that Trump is missing a yuge opportunity here. He was the one who was touting himself as the savior for bringing the vaccine so quickly - so he should be using his pulpit to encourage all the naysayers to not fear it. But, unless I've missed it, the only thing Trump is saying now is "Fore" and "I've been robbed".

Oh, I see... Trying to save the livelihood of millions of small businesses is antiscience, yet our democrat overlords get to continue to ignore science and enjoy their large gatherings and family vacations and hair solons while they tell their minions that kind of activity is irresponsible....And you have the gall to call these guys hypocrites?!?

Honestly I expected them to be fast tracked, and likely there will be other groups, athletes for example but they could go state by state, that's a solid pc response I've read.

NBA would make sense, season just starting, nfl makes less sense, season almost over.

Inside the rollout plan there is likely a built in number set aside for special groups. Those better than us, and other front line groups.

I haven't read any plan, but I'm likely group 49 out of 60ish and will be waiting.

If you have the vaccine, can you still catch it and test positive?
