Seriously, how do you think it would look to the public if Publix had called the police on those kids? Does the store want to be seen as sympathizer of gun nuts? They know very well that, luckily, the gun nuts are in the small minority, although they are loud and mean, as evidenced in this thread.

There are millions of cases where people win a little because insurance companies may pay off the nuisance claims to get rid of legal costs. When I was in property- casualty we would catch people on film ( old days) who were claiming Workers Comp injuries and we had them on film cutting down a tree or building a stone wall. They claimed back injuries in a bump while driving a fork lift.
