Should Blacks Be Given Their Own Country Inside the US?

Actually, I think people who have decided that other Americans should go off to live in their own "reservations" should have to go off to their own reservation, preferably in the middle of the ocean where the hateful bluster won't bother anyone.

 

Liberals should have to live in the middle of ghettos so they can get to know mistreated minorities better.

No this would not be a solution...
1) None would agree to give up their own land to facilitate this. Also, I do not believe you could ever make the black population happy on a single location. Obviously the least populated state. Alaska, would be the obvious choice. However, how many blacks would settle there. You would get complaints of too cold, not enough amenities, etc. etc.

2) So lets seed the state of Florida or Louisiana, yeah, like that would ever happen.

3) Since the Blacks were not native to America, and were sold into slavery by other blacks and middle easterners... The obvious choice is to send anyone wanting to, back to Africa. The problem is, how many would actually want to go...Do we mandate this and all blacks have to go back to Africa, renounce their citizenship, and then reapply for citizenship if they want to come back.

I say, give any that want to go back to Africa a $100k per adult and $25k per child, however, you cannot regain US citizenship unless you pay back that money first...So for most this is a one way trip.

By the way, I am Native American and a member of the Pine Ridge Indian reservation.

Trump supporters are too stupid to recognize truths that are self-evident. For instance, Trump and his stooges are impressed that Putin’s approval ratings are 85 percent. They are too stupid to know that we don't need know anything more than Putin is a brutal dictator who incarcerates and kills detractors to know that the approval ratings aren't meaningful.

Similarly, in a legally segregated and oppressive state, if the legal oppression is ended, then the oppressors will act in such a way to relieve the stress caused by the change. And thus, anyone with two synapses firing in their brains, understand that more people in the oppressed group will be accused of and prosecuted for trumped up charges that will help mitigate the loss of the oppressors power.

I'm sorry if this is too complicated for you to grasp. But realize, people who share your beleifs are unwittingly segregating into a group that is far less intelligent than the population as a whole.

Michigan has a Republican governor who stripped Detroit ELECTED officials of power. The elected official in Oakland County are white, and continuing the floridly racist tactics to keep African-Americans out, and thus white people working hard to keep Detroit a black ghetto.

I am not as familiar with the other cities. But I highly doubt that it is much different there.

As well, when did Mayor Daley and Mayor Emanuel become black?

After Harold Washington died of a massive myocardial infarction in 1987, when has there been a black mayor?

Funny ... progressives are always bleating that you can't paint an entire group with the same brush, as that would be bigoted.

 

Since modern racism is almost exclusively practised by white progressives, I don't think it would make any difference. The old school racists (those who are genuinely uncomfortable with difference) are all dying out now, so are pretty much irrelevant. It's the ones who imagine themselves tolerant and inclusive who are the real danger to harmony.

 

Mind explaining to me how black Africans and other POC minorities in some white countries choose to succeed as a form of 'revenge'? And yes, some of them have had shocking experiences of subjugation etc, so don't even try to go there (historical abuse etc).

Unfortunately it's entirely on white progressives. They have kept pushing the envelope to see where the resistance lies - like small children testing parental limits.
