Should I change my Avatar?

Some users have been giving me a bunch of drama saying my Avatar is unchristian. What do you think?

 

I think your avatar is your business and if other people don't have anything better to do but complain then that's their problem. If you like it, keep it and ignore the rest.

I've had this Avatar forever...But recently I got heat for it. But yes, it's a hybrid and I know it bothers many people. But I just think JESUS overall, bugs people here because most don't believe in him.

I like the one you've got. It's an avatar, not a complete representation of your views and beliefs. I do not have a moustache of the same calibre as the one in my pic, moustaches, or even the concept of having a moustache to raise consciousness about prostate cancer are not my primary discussion points.

I tend to think that the avatar has two duties, one is to help people keep posters apart, which would talk for keeping your old one, and the other is to get a very vague idea of the poster, and I think yours does that. Sure, if you look for some time, the jedi stance and the fact that Jedi is sometimes considered a religion might speak against you, but if you're looking for that long at any avatar, it's going to break its purpose.

 

Christianity is not Islam. I know of no rule stating you should be blown up for having an avatar that displays Christ that way or any other way. For those who think your avatar is unChristian, they should grow up.

It is mildly off-putting, and not in any way Christian, but there are many worse. There are very few Christians in America anyway, so not many people will be bothered.

 

I am not offended one bit but it sure is a sad photo and state of affairs.
