Spying on the neighbors { good a pastime as any },Making last minute
additions or subtractions to your Will. At the grocery store or Butcher/Bakery shop.
Out somewhere sunning like backyard or nearest beach.

On yer old rotary phone plying needed gossip about who is doing
what to whom.Catching up on reading or Posting on some message board.
Spreading scuttlebutt on said message board or boards.
Drawing Cartoons or watching cartoons.Or Soap operas.
I mean,what is it You confounded Earthlings Do on yer day off ... anywho.

 

Morning, Foolie. I'll be shopping for a few last minute things for my trip. I'm sure what you do all day would be much more interesting. Do tell... how will you spend this Saturday?

 

What Saturday.A day like most udders.
I got up and got chores done this morning so's I can kinda good off on
the boards and then back to chores and such.Between me chores and
a little schmaltzing on the Internet,I have a life but not much of a Saturday.

Lord oh Lord I need a drink.

Woke up at 6 this morning, went to work out (first time in a while), was using this machine improperly I guess, and ended up popping my shoulder out of its socket. Lol I guess I was in shock because I couldn't speak. Luckily, there was a woman in the gym. I just looked at her and with my other arm was waiving for her help. I stood up and she helped me bang my arm against the metal until it popped back in. She was MORTIFIED lol! It didn't really hurt, it was just in some awkward position.

Anyywaayyyys, all was fine. I was on my way to work when the metro trains stop running! Was an hour late to work.

Don't be silly, dumplin. I haven't posted on the office computer since the lib mod from USMB blew the whistle on me and tried to get me fired. Bought myself a smartphone that very day and now I post on my own equipment.

Hmm ! wonders Iron Boss with backup whistle { kiddie whistle }.
It may be HER equipment but not her time.She clocks-in to start work
and it's Our Time till my iron whistle blows.
Unless she can figger a way to make Our Time ... her Time.

You survive the severe weather out there, Smartie?

 

We went from severe drought to severe flooding in 6 months. Many lakes have gained over 20 feet and they are releasing water to prevent lake overflow. It's kind of crazy. My kid's rainout baseball games have been rained out again. We are starting to see a few tornadoes as well.

I'll take the flooding over the drought any day, though.

 

I see Smarty's point.She is merely voicing her opinion as if
being " slighted ". To be Slighted or Not to be.
That is the question.
But I think it takes at least 2 to slight.The one being slighted and the
one or ones doing the slighting.
No one likes to be slighted.
Well maybe almost no one.Seems Michelle is having the time of her
life as First Black Lady with lavish vacations at the snap of her fingers.
If only for those pesky little " slights ",that keep rearing their little chinny chin chins.
I felt me a slight onced.But it was pretty.This really Hotsy Totsy Toots
tried slighting me.I was just about to pinch her booty when from out of
nowehere came this slight.A slap right in me kisser.
But I took the slight like a man and stove off like Popeye with chest-pumped
and arms swinging in unison as if in a marching band.
I marched right on oughta that Brothel,never to receive such slight of hand
again.Well,at least until payday.

 

So far so good, B. Major tornado hasn't hit Dallas since 1957. Let's hope that record stands!

Flooding around Denton was awful! My earliest memory is of a flood we lived thru when I was 2 yrs old. I still remember waking up to water in the house. Scary stuff.

 

If one can survive Living in Texas with Roadhouses and cheap suds { beer }
and undercooked armadillo sandwiches on fried taco shells and
moonlite nights disturbed by coyote yelping.
I mean there's a reason guys Like Judge Roy Bean seldom left his
domicile.I mean, I heard a rumor.Just a rumor mind ya.
That plans are in the making to adjust Big Tex's { State Fair Mascot }
pants so low one can see his Butt crack.
And he'll have his peeing hand holding his crotch.
But as of now it's merely rumor.
