Plus with Gambling there's always those loan sharks to content
with. That or stealing money from around the house or office or
from kin.I think Gambling has a psychological high.
You win big and you feel BiG.
I get a kick out of blacks and how they as a group buy into
Lotto or Powerball. Most blacks play it like the way most blacks
    dawdle on cell phones.

Oops, I thought you were referring to the two college rivals in Florida. Uof F is called the Gators and FSU is called Seminoles. (U of F is University of Florida, FSU
Florida State University.) They are bitter rivals. The Gators I am talking about wouldn't know a knife from a fork, now Seminoles are very gifted..

Ya...When I gamble and win I always have the desire to gamble more and win more. That's why I don't gamble anymore.

forgive me if this is off topic for the bar, but i think wife beaters are oppressed like most other violent people, and need mercy.

privileged or strong minded people have the luxury to be civilized or non violent, but civilization was born out of violence. even in the animal kingdom, the baby birds use violence against their weaker brothers and sisters when being fed by the mother bird, which causes the weak ones to die of starvation.

no excuse for any abuses, but weakness should not be exclusive in my opinion.

In the animal kingdom it is survival of the fittest, in humans it is bullying and being
down right hateful. It doesn't have to be strong versus weak, mental abuse can be done by the weaker person.

If you are experiencing mental abuse then you are in the wrong relationship.

Time to get out and find a new one.

Remember there are 50 ways to leave your lover.

    Slip out the back Jack.

    Make a new plan Sam.

Sometimes it is easier said than done, and yes it is probably easier to leave a mentally abusive relationship than a physically
    abusive one.

There is no sense being a martyr.

If the relationship is bad, then get out.

    Just leave.

    Leave everything behind and go.

I have never understood why someone can't leave an abusive relationship. I wouldn't stay one minute longer than it took me to open the door.

You are like my elder sister then. She would not put up with crap like that either. She was a gymnast in high school and is a nurse now.

My other sister the youngest had put up with abuse from her first hubby until they finally divorced.

    I suppose everyone is different.

Sometimes fear of the known is easier to deal with than fear of the unknown. I've been there before. Not abuse, but knowing you should cut your losses and get out, but hanging on until... which can turn into years.

Lots of available support for victims of abuse. They just have to be brave enough to dial the phone. People will help from there.

Well absent abuse in a relationship, hanging on is at least good for more free amateur sex.
