From what I recall during my years as a home brewer,a
brewery has to pay close attention to the environment.Because
when brewing beer it is very easy to contaminate the brew.
So the environment has to be as sterile as possible.
Unlike a Cheese factory.I visited an Edam cheese factory in
Holland that was pretty much full of flies and one could smell
manure as if on a Farm in the deep south.

Yes, beer is good, especially a beer that makes women feel like lads.
I think Henry Higgins said that first. ;-)

Flies and cheese making do seem to go together. The flies obviously get filtered out eventually during the process.

And I think I see Advil further down the counter from the beer.
You should start buying it in bulk, or just take a break from retirement and go back to work. ;-)

Noticed that some of the women in the Guiness tasting commercial liked the canned beer. It probably made them feel less like a lad.

Lobster rolls are fast food and cheap in Maine. Over $20 in DC area. That's kind of weird. But then I suppose social justice should be expensive.

I'm about 2/3 done with the fence removal. Something will be done with the removed sections. Today! 20190726_073037.jpg

But you'll have problems with disposing of them heavy removed
posts { laden with cement }.Can't just put them in a dumpster.
Maybe 1 or 2.Maybe if you had a beater car { rusted out with
seized engine } you could put in the trunk and back seat.

Pretty much what I was going to suggest. There are plenty of building salvage yards these days. Good for getting rid of things like this, and finding things that you need. Might even find your ironwork gate at one......

I liked Pygmalion better than My Fair Lady. Leslie Howard did Henry Higgins and Wendy Hiller did Eliza they should have won Oscars.

Those July cool snaps should happen more often, we were at 72 this morning with a 93 percent humidity.

    I ended up getting a 4-pack of Duvel Belgian ale { $ 16.99 }

31% humidity here! Feels like Spring! (Well, not now... it's up to 92. Still cool for July!)

Busy day... doc appt across town so decided to have lunch someplace I'd never been. Decided to come back to my 'hood and eat at Jeds Grill https://www.jedsgrillrestaurantdallas.com/

First I noticed the straws (marked RECYCLED PAPER, COMPOST STRAW) but after a trip to the unisex bathroom realized I was being gentrified. Happening a lot around here... if there's no biscuits & gravy on the menu, I need to walk away...

No good beer comes in a can. Bottles only, preferably 22 ounce (bomber) bottles. Poured in a beer glass or mug that is large enough to fit your nose in when you tilt it back.

    Cans, pffft, sacrilege I say!

That is a good idea. Someone may come along and want those post. I would cut the cement end off and use them as a horizontal stiffener at the bottom of my goat fence....if they were cheap enough....or they could be used for something else. The chain link fence I could use....if cheap enough.

20190726_184106.jpg Been thinkin bout making a wooden box with this as a lid. The door came from an entertainment center we bought for round 10$ at a thrift store. I have enough oak plywood to do an oak plywood box. I am going to try to keep the same hinges...place a block to attach.them to get a latch for to keep the box closed and locked.

    Nice piece.

For what it's worth, I like this idea better, poli. Unless you're good with the asymmetry you get when it's oriented horizontally that arch needs to be up top (as intended).
