Um ... Eastern side of what ? How come some folk talk like that.
Just say the side of the house or yard. What difference will it make.
The Weather Channel don't even talk like that { what side of the planet
    Mother nature will strike }.
Unless a Nor'Easter er some such event.

Thx, TC. Still gonna take it easy this week... taking my rolling tote instead of carrying anything heavy... and bypassing the stairs for a few days. It's not like I do anything strenuous anyway. (But I will miss my mid morning nap & judge shows). ;)

I just realized, I haven't needed a credit report since the 80's LOL that either means I have everything I need or I have nothing at all.....I should ask my wife.....I may be poor and should be more miserable?

While appreciating the thought, $125 is not going to change the fact that someone, somewhere, may possibly have a kazillion pieces of information that can be used for whatever they please. It cannot be reclaimed, it cannot be changed (for all reasonable matters). We are, and have been for a long time, a product to be sold for all our value, history and ability to pay our bills.

    We have become chattel.

So....since the first post here indicates drinking, does anyone think IPAs are like the best type of beer out there? I do.

It's not the $125. If I was on that list, I'd be wanting to find out what info was taken.

It's a moot point, actually. When I checked into the hospital, all they needed was my SS#... which told them everything they needed to know about me and my health insurance. Including my unusual middle name that I never use, but was on my wrist band as well as all paperwork.

    We have no secrets.

In this day and age, I would assume everything was accessed.

I believe I checked back when it all happened, and I wasn't there. I will get a copy of my credit report in a couple of months for my 'annual check up'. One of my credit cards supplies it for free, and according to them, my credit blood pressure is fine.

20 posts in, and you're in the bar. Says something about the climate out with the herds.... :)

Welcome, pick a bar stool that doesn't already have a name engraved with a pen, and make yourself comfortable. No politics, no bashing...

My Hospital is almost unrecognizable.I went for a blood sample
in early June and got lost trying to find the Emergency Room. They
so changed the hospital they moved a lot of service. To much bigger and
modern bldgs. Now instead of checking in and being told to wait
for a person who checks out yer Medical history and I.D. and
coverage, you just plug in Info at a standing unit { computer } which
asks just yer name and SS # and a few other things.
I liked the older, much smaller Hospital.Sometimes too BiG
is just that.Totally takes away the American spirit that a Mom & Pop
establishment have. One of the few examples that does not
go in that direction are Wal*Mart superstores. The Bigger, the better
the shopping. The more items for sale. However the longer it takes to reach
said Item. For a person using a cane or walker it could be Hell.
Taking 5 minutes once walking thru the entrance to reach said Item.

Good morning everyone - I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

I saw this on OAN this morning and found it amusing, so I thought I'd share it with you. Here are the highlights from yesterday's Red Bull Flugtag in Moscow:

LMAO - That looks like a shload of fun.

I tried to find the video that OAN aired that had a bunch of guys dressed up like a mariachi band and their launch craft was a giant cactus. They were awesome but their flying vehicle face-planted right into the water with the cactus. :(

I never heard of the Flugtag until today, but Red Bull holds them all over Europe and the U.S.. The Turks throw a great Flugtag in Istanbul, too.

    Welcome aboard, Bluehyena.

I think Seth Bullock is an IPA guy. I'm more into amber ales and lagers, myself.

So do I. I enjoy trying out lots of different brands, but my "go to" brand is the Deschutes Brewing Co.

I also enjoy several brew pubs in my area that make their own.

If, in fact, the topic of the day is Baltimore it's time for some hillbilly* music. It's always time for hillbilly music.

    * Not politically incorrect since I are one.
