    You know, I've actually used the redi-mixed banana bread stuff before. Just added ripe banana and pecans. Taste just fine to me.

    Only once in a very rare blue moon, do I attempt to bake anything, so I don't buy bags of flour anymore.

    I have never attempted any kind of pudding. But, I remember as a little boy, my Dad made it (banana pudding, we are Southern Italians, LOL)), but he heated milk/extract and did whatever. I really can't remember, but recall it not being too quick. Oh, and lots of vanilla wafers!

    Next time I'm passing through Big D, we'll cook up a batch! ;)

    I'm gonna hold you to that!

    If you use Jello Instant Vanilla Pudding, there's no cooking req'd. Just be sure to at least use half & half instead of regular milk (if not cream)... makes it much richer.

    Yeah, my mom used to cook the custard from scratch too.. but if you do, you have to let it cool or else it will cook the bananas and your pudding will taste like (*)(*)(*)(*).

    Um, I mean, lousy.

    FAHLEEEEENA!!!! I think it's a real lack of organization is why the training is so spotty. It's kind of like teaching someone to swim by throwing them in a fire pit.

    :p Oh well, I will learn it if it kills me. And it might. Ha hah!

    Filed it where? lol Its really not that difficult. Throw all that together in a bowl and mix it up. Butter and flour a baking dish and bake it till its brown. Not charred black. lmao If you have bananas that are turning brown put them in a ziplock bag and freeze them with the skin on them. If you use them to bake they have more flavor once they defrost. Or at least I think they do.
