The only thing that will be remembered is that Trump is the only former President to have been convicted of criminal acts. I don't know if that's what you mean by "lawfare" but it will be the only thing that will perdure throughout our History.

And I would venture that the popular "myth" will be that he was sentenced for torturing children. Because of all the crimes he committed, that was his worst. And I'm pretty sure History will remember that (we must never forget it). Just like most people think that Al Capone was sentenced for theft or murder... when he was actually only sentenced for tax evasion. So historians will have to remind them that it was for stealing government documents and for violating campaign finance laws, ... etc. But NOBODY will regard Trump as a martyr any more than we regard Al Capone as a martyr, despite the fact that ol' Scarface was pretty popular too.

 

Your hyper-partisan rant aside, do you have any actual evidence that the substantive evidence and sworn testimony of so many Republicans that has resulted in grand juries recommending prosecutions of the perp in multiple legal venues are aspects of a vast, nebulous conspiracy by some unidentified clandestine cabal you call "the left"?

I wouldn't expect extreme never-trumpers to understand the effect seeing him broken and battered in court has on people. To most lefties, its the equivalent of softcore porn, to most others, its LAWFARE ELECTION INTERFERENCE and a mockery of the justice system.

First off, I really don't give a damn what effect his being broken and battered has an effect on people ( Because he's sure as hell didn't give a damn about all the people he has broken and battered throughout his life ) All I care about is justice and justice demands that this criminal be incarcerated, which by the way, has nothing to do with elections because the process started before he declared his candidacy. The truth is he is running for president to escape prison.
