The question is why a poster with some 50 posts in a row all against jews cannot be called an anti-semite. What is so "shocking" about saying someone who hates jews what they obviously are to everyone?

And how is that an "insult" comparable to one poster who knows another poster is black, and so calls blacks "monkeys" or genetically stupid as an end-around to the forum rules?

Why is racism and personal attacks through racist statements tolerated, but calling a person a racist not - even when they are gleefully public about it?

I appreciate it that you share my perspective that it is racist to hate or express extreme hostility against a religion, such as Islam, Judaism or Christianity. Now, if we can get more people to share our agreement on the matter, then the racism expressed in the forum will decline dramatically.

None of the staff members have multiple accounts (which would be a violation of the Forum Rules) and to my knowledge none of the staff members have other family members that are members of Political Forum although there is no prohibition against that.

Members have been banned for propagating hate speech predominately because it is flamebaiting.

We must also remember that condemnation of the acts of the government of Israel and references to "zionists" are not condemnation of the Jews and are not hate speech nor is it anti-semitic. Zionism is a political philosophy and the Israeli government does not represent the Jewish people as a whole.

Personal attacks/insults are also prohibited but they must be statements directed at or about a member and not a general statement that someone take offense to.

I don't read all posts or even come close to doing that but I do respond to a lot of Reported posts. I have often had posts Reported as being personal insults but upon review the post was condemning a political philosophy, ideology, or actions of a government and those are not personal attacks. The criteria for a personal insult/attack is very simple. A post directed at or about another member that is derogatory in nature is a personal insult/attack.

As I've also noted racism is not prohibited on Political Forum but flamebaiting is. It is often hard for a racists to not make flamebaiting posts which is why they normally don't last long but condemnation of political philosophies, ideologies, or the actions of political entities does not establish flamebaiting.

I'm glad then that we both agree that the anti-Semite card is often misused and abused to insult forum members simply because they don't hate any Semites and that more neo-Zionists are becoming ashamed of being associated with neo-Zionism as a result of such. :date: Yet, for you to feel that it is heavily insulting and offensive to be a neo-Zionist, seems a bit unique and unusual.

All of these invented MLK quotes began floating around after I posted with an MLK avatar 10+ years ago. Prior to then, Zionists never mentioned Martin Luther King.

Martin Luther King Jr, as a Christain minister, was unquestionably a bigot on some subjects so we can leave it at that.

I find the mods here fair, but they are people, like everyone else. The various warnings I've been given have in all cases but one seemed rational within the rules, but that one was not only beneath notice but beneath contempt in its bias. So it goes - nobody is perfect. For once, however, it was not about the racists occupying Palestine and murdering children there being put-upon angels. As The Judge has pointed out, the paid zionist agents, highly organized, have been desperately bullying many sites for a very long time, desperately attempting to shut down all free speech, and I do think the mods here deserve credit for standing up to those nazis with their constant quacking about 'anti-semitism' in persons who have never done other than fight nazism in its other forms too. Mostly I put the bullyboys on ignore: if everyone did it they would change their names every two days instead of every two months.

Then a fair question requires the forum admins to precisely define the difference between "tolerated" racism and flamebaiting, I am not clever enough to be able to distinguish between the two, particularly when racism is intentionally used in this forum to attack other members whose racial profile is publicly known.

A jew would fundamentally disagree with you, and your explanation is highly insensitive and indicative of someone trying to justify attacks on jews using absurd, twisted sophistry.

Given that there is only one jewish state, and 99% of jews that I know, and I know many, hold that one state as extremely sacred, questioning its legitimacy or right to exist is a fundamental attack on them personally.

Most of them will openly state that zionism is simply a right for a jewish homeland to exist, no more so than ireland or saudi arabia exists for those groups of people.

I do not see anyone questioning the right of italy to exist, or that italians have no right to a homeland, which the persistent and derogatory attacks on zionism or israel represent.

This is incorrect. Jews are not one person and not all Jews agree on the same issues.

Then, those individuals need to show the same respect to Palestinians, accepting their nation instead of expanding illegal settlements. It is counterproductive to talk all big and bad about a right to exist while denying others the same.

Calling people paid agents, or nazis, is not the stuff of debate and reveals an obvious bias - the nature of which I am addressing.

The real old nazi song about pretend-unanimity. Any orthodox Jews who knew their religion wouldn't touch the reichlette, and most of the ex-Jews I know are extremely dubious about its crimes. As with nazi states like South Africa or Rhodesia, the nazis can normally manage to con some of the 'kith and kin' to disgrace themselves and their noble traditions. You can always tell those who care only for brainwashing by the way they wheel out nonsense-statistics.

I would agree with this and I'm unaware of any paid agents on Political Forum. As for being a "Nazi" I'm sure we've had some overt Nazis as members as well as some who endorse the same forms of tyranny as the Nazis but that addresses members and members are never the topic of discussion on Political Forum. Attack the ideas and beliefs and not the member.

A post can be inflamatory but it must be addressing a political topic. If it is purely intended to elicit an emotional response then it is flamebaiting. As moderators we first look to see if a political topic is being addressed regardless of how inflamatory a statement might be. Is it a topic for discussion or is it merely a statement intended to enrage others.

A person's political opinions can be addressed based upon what they say but not what is assumed about them. It can also be done in a respectful manner even when related to ideas that one highly objects to.

It is, however, striking that certain posters never leave a single political issue, ever. 'Ignore' seems to me the only answer, since they don't want to discuss anything - 'else' is not required, is it?
