Study: Carrying a gun can make you more paranoid

Funny how NRA is blamed for crime, NRA is falsely misrepresented as a faceless organization, this is untrue, NRA consists of people like me, members from every walk of life, We wish to preserve life and peace against those that do not, those few in society, that would destroy all we hold dear.

A Good example of a so called "LOBBY" is the tobacco Lobby, it has ZERO Members of the smoking public, the Tobacco Lobby consists of big companies, industry, the huge concerns making all the cigarette manufacturing machines and paper and cardboard packaging materials and advertising, a Multi Billion Dollar industry, when you take into account all of the facets of Tobacco products and related matters, such as advertising and marketing and Legal.

And smoking is an Industry of death as it yeilds ZERO benefit and only causes harm to those that smoke and people around them.


The World is indeed relatively dangerous, it is not that nice elderly couple next door, or their grand kids, there are many nice people.

You do get bad ones too, they are the ones doing the shootings, robberies, murders, and acts of violence.

My Father, and countless others warned me against making sweeping blanket generalizations, the ones concerning firearms are a great example, many make a convincing case for not having firearms and not owning them and not carrying a handgun.

My parents did not carry even though My Father was in Military service and was a State Patrolman etc...

I was never so convinced, I hunted and later carried in connection with my duties in various services.

I observed a need for firearms at an early age, 10 to be exact.

Some Police Officers serve an entire career and never need to draw a siderarm, others do.

How do you deny the need of firearms from not only L.E., but the countless citizens that have saved lives because they had firearms ?

Or should they have merely been victims and perished because some monster decided it was their time ?

And yes, there are monsters out there.
I have seen a few.

Do tell us again how nobody needs a firearm, 90 % was it ?
