If they win the WH, they won't curb the presidency in the least. They didn't mind when Obama was governing by executive order. They won't if it is President Harris either.

You seem confused... and yes Dems WILL curb the Executive because they are smart enough to see the danger of an uncontrollable President and realize that they will not hold the WH forever.

I am not the one confused. The dems enjoy wielding power as much as the GOP.

Doesn't a Constitutional Amendment detail just how the District of Columbia is governed at present?

If so wouldn't you need to pass another amendment to override it before DC was allowed to be admitted as a state? Of course that would never happen for obvious reasons.

Support our unqualified right to keep and bear howitzers, practice open carry, and comprehensive weapons training for kindergartners to offset the leftist sex education. If they taught the kid what oral sex means, then someone should teach them how to punch out a four-inch group at thirty paces. By sixth grade they'll be Olympic-grade, mom's pride and joy.

You're quite right. Picking up at the departure-point, you were right that calling for an Amendment to admit DC, "would never happen for obvious reasons."

Then I went riffing, but left off the opening sentence I SHOULD have started with.....

"If the left can call for a Constitutional Convention, then here are a few proposals...."

I regret that blunder. My apology.
