It's what the NPV compact is about. And without some enforcement agreement between the states what's going to stop a state for going OOPS looks like a Trump is leading in national polls but our state citizens support Sanders who could win with our electoral votes. Watch those laws go down the tubes.

It's REAL simple the States elect the President by design stop trying to usurp the Constitution.

You have one person one vote in every State's election for their electors. What State doesn't?

I'm not even sure how to respond to your childish outrage anymore.

Only thing I can tell you is that we the people vote per state and the majority goes to the EC. Sorry you have a problem with the way America works. Nobody in a normal state of mind prefers that California and NY decide our president.

There doesn't need to be any agreement between the states. If a number of states all say that all their electoral votes go to the winner of the NPV, but only if a number of other states (which collectively have greater than half the EC votes) have similar systems for allocating EC votes, then there is no need for any agreement between the states.

In that case it WILL be the states that elect the president. The only difference will be that they have decided a different basis for allocating their EC votes.

It is pretty simple, really. It is up to the individual states to decide how EC votes are going to be allocated. They don't all have to be the same way, and they don't have to remain the way they are now. If enough people in enough states want to change it so it is based on NPV, that is up to the people in those states. It isn't an attack on the Constitution - it is respecting the Constitution.

Precisely. Only a constitutional amendment can change that.

Sad that you had to resort to puerile ad homs because you cannot REFUTE the UNDENIABLE FACT that the EC enshrines the MINORITY white nationalist oppression of the WILL of the people.

But they didn't get the results they wanted. What else are they supposed to do, vote him out in 2020 the fair and legal way? Democrats have never been fair, or legal. If they know they can't win the EC, their solution is to eliminate the EC. If Trump wins the popular vote, their solution is to get rid of the popular vote. If the left had their way, voting would only be allowed by members of the DNC.

    Misery fuels hate...

That's why the left makes you think you're miserable.

There's like, I don't know, 124 white nationalists out there and you've been led to believe America is full of them.

1 million more people voted in 2008 than 2016. Where were all these white nationalists to keep Obama - you know, the black guy - from winning two terms? Think.

The ONLY will of the People concerning the election of a President is WITHIN the states and ONLY if the State says the People get a vote in the matter. Civics 101.

    That is not the truth.

A BJ huh? Lying under oath to a Federal Grand Jury and witness tampering to get another witness to lie under oath. There is no comparison to Trump.

Like I said, a small area of the country densely populated by the poor where they get the biggest handout need not control the rest of the country.

    and they get 2 senators

    those 3 electoral votes represent:

North Dakota population is 760,000 people, or 253,000 people per vote

California has 39,560,000 people, or 719,271 per vote

North Dakota gets 3 votes for every california voter

I don't think that is the reason for the impeachment.
It's why tRUMP won't allow testimony from those who were in on the call. He'd be screwed if the truth came out about his bribe.
    It's out there anyway.

Only one of is having a problem thinking and it isn't me!

The DEMOGRAPHIC TREND for non-college whites is in DECLINE!

There will be 3.5 MILLION fewer NCW voters in 2020 than there were in 2016.

Now if YOU think about it that would EXPLAIN why there were 1 million FEWER between 2008 and 2016 too because that TREND didn't just start in 2016!

The white nationalists are primarily within the NCW Demographic that is SHRINKING!

Little wonder that they are PROJECTING their own "misery fueled hatred" onto others.

We agree that a "small area of the country densely populated by the poor" like Appalachia "where they get the biggest handout need not control the rest of the country".
