What else do you expect from violent right-wing and highly religious zealots who are known to be militant?

Sorry, what country are YOU from where you have the ability to call us weak? Oh??? Canada, snicker. Never mind.

That's stupidity, and utter ignorance of the political realities of diplomacy. We're in financial duress due to stupid Keynesian mismanagement and reckless spending, along with anti-business policy and leftist infection.

Depends upon the apology, and to whom it is directed. You feel free to support (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) behaviour; I'll revile it.

All while we conveniently insulate Canada from any real threat.

There was no need for an apology, it was - as has already been admitted - useless. All it does is cement Obama's impression of being weak.

I can agree with this. Do you think that apologizing while doing this makes sense? At whom would these apologies be directed, in that case?

I certainly hope that last question has you realizing just how stupid your defense of apologies really is.

By the way: I asked to to describe this "turning up the heat" about which you were bloviating. Am I to take it that it is the covert action that you're suggesting? If that is the case, I'll reiterate: how the hell could any politician "apologize" while simultaneously taking out those to whom he's apologizing?

So, I see you think it was just one country that did this, right? Or was it two? Was it the countries or was it individuals not associated with the governments? Gosh, it's hard to tell isn't it, but here we go just like the wild west, then when things get heated...oh we're sorry.

War should be run like war. If attacked by a "country" then we should blast them without remorse and not worry who is in the way. No excuses, ever.

al-Qaeda (who was responsible for 9/11) was being harbored in Afghanistan by the Taliban...

    *shrug*

I didn't set it up, that's just what it was...

Because we were never at war w/ Afghanistan really...

We were at war w/ al Qaeda & the Taliban...

He wasn't apologizing for their sake...

It was reassurance to our non-radical Muslim friendlies that a mistake was made and that that's not what we're about...

    This is an easy concept...

Didn't work did it? So guess he was wrong. We need a strong leader in times like this, not a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing wuss.

    The radicals are rioting...

That's not who it was for...

    I thought I said that...

You need a rational person to handle stuff like this, not a loose cannon...

Ofcourse they keep bringing news from the Middle East (muslims/islam) into your living rooms (for eleven years now), because this evil system is after your vote. Try to make you angry, pick a side, put fear into your mind.
If there is a time of mass propaganda it is this time. Do not buy into this propaganda, it's war propaganda.

Bush was wrong in what he did...he was cajoled into it by his father of course...but Obama should have simply pulled our troops home right away. Their petty squabbling between each other is something we got caught up in and had he pulled out early on, we would be better off financially, less troops would have died, and he wouldn't have had to apologize for anything...which is something he feels is necessary for some unknown reason.

Iraq is the big problem, from my POV...

We had zero reason to go into Iraq, and that is the huge problem, and we have pulled out...

    Good...

I think we should leave Afghanistan too, though...

Obviously, we're not wanted there, and, as such, I see no reason for our troops to continue dying there...

I think Obama should apologize to me for his performance in office to date.

These radical Muslims are out to control the world. Their goal is to either convert or kill all the Saturday and Sunday people. Even moderate Muslims will side with the radicals if push comes to shove, because they will side with their ideology, religion against all others.

    You can't appease them...

And it wasn't directed at them...

It was directed at our Muslim friendlies...

Guys, how would you react if a couple of Muslims came into your church during Sunday Service and urinated on the altar? That's about the level of outrage the average Afghan is feeling, while the radicals are running wild and milking this business for all it is worth. About the only thing the troops could have done worse is strip women in burqas down to their underwear and lead them through the streets on leashes (and that's a debatable call as to which is worse in the eyes of Afghans).

See my previous post. You people really need to get your head out of the sand on this Muslim issue. Their goal is a world Caliphate. They hate you. How many do you think will hide you and protect you? Sorry you don't see the correlation between them and the killing of Jews under Hitler.
