    I don't love that the Daily Mail used both "Terrifying and "terrified" in the headline, and I really question their descriptor of "unraveled". Far from unraveling, I'd say the situation was resolved satisfactorily. One should not take hostages if one does not one's brain matter splattered on the wall, at least in Mississippi.

    Anyways, aside from the shocking race-reversal of the situation, with the black victim / oppressed holding an oppressor-class white hostage, I thought it was interesting because it was a woman, which, again, intersectionally-speaking, shouldn't even have enough power to take hostages, right?

    My OP was more explicitly anti-racist than racist. I acknowledged the perp's instrinsic victimhood from a lifetime of oppression. Generations, really, so multiple lifetimes I guess. Thanks for playing though.

    I was an LEO during the 90’s so I still can’t see how OP was racist, and I’ve yet to see evidence of him being that way.
