Sorry. California has the highest poverty rate in the nation. Only DC has a higher poverty rate and it’s not a state (yet). You are using the measure that does not account for cost of living or social safety nets. The Supplemental Poverty Measure from the Census Bureau is the measure you should use if details matter to you.

I simply pointed out the examples you keep using in your posts are not accurate information. It seems there is definitely a need for some to believe California doesn’t have the highest poverty rate in the nation according to the Census Bureau. Very nice. The RED state people “Having warm fires outside their trailers and doing square dancing and having a blast.” And then lecture DEMS and Blue state who are “working their butts off” to take “personal responsibility” and “ don’t take government handout” .

May be the people in RED state get of their lazy a$$ and stope the square dancing and “ work their butts off” so we from Bleu state don’t have to send our hard earn money to red to state keep police department open.
