lol Funny stuff, but funnier the 1st time... not the 3,395,975th. That video is actually why newleftmedia went out and asked what they did, which made for some hilarious segments. Browse the thread and you'll see what I'm talking about.

    Moving on...

Michele Bachmann-- who was born and grew up in Waterloo as a child before moving to Minnesota -- said, "Well, what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That's the kind of spirit that I have, too."

The Washington Times points out one slight problem with the Tea Party favorite's remarks: The John Wayne with roots in Waterloo is John Wayne Gacy, a serial killer who was executed by lethal injection in 1994 after being convicted of 33 murders.

    - Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX), arguing that a hate crimes bill passed by Congress would lead to Nazism and legalization of necrophilia, pedophilia, and bestiality, Oct. 6, 2009

-Former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, rewriting history while speaking at a Connecticut fundraiser about the war in Afghanistan, which President Bush launched following the 9/11 terrorist attacks (July 2, 2010)

—South Carolina State Sen. Jake Knotts (R), claiming that his Republican rival in the South Carolina governor's race, Nikki Haley, has been set up by a network of Sikhs and was programmed to run for governor by outside influences in foreign countries. (Haley is of Sikh descent, and is now a Christian.) Knotts later clarified his statement, saying he did not mean to use the F-word. (June 4, 2010))

How GOP obstructionists practice saying "No".

Apparently, Republicans in congress have released a handy gadget for all the future "No" righties out there. Dubbed the "useless box" (per their useless nature) the device operates as if you (bill seeker) is pressing "on" to get a bill passed. The device will then show you how you should reply when/if you obtain a seat. Straight to the point, I'd say.

Sad events making the end of the Right's "Good Ol' Days"

From 1967, the Boston Marathon organizers trying to rip the numbers off the first female entry, who registered by only using her initials! There was no specific rule against women running, because, after all,"common sense", "Natural Law", and the Bible told us no woman could possibly run 26 miles!

    A Republican moment to consider...

Members of the right think President Obama wasn't vetted enough on the tough issues surrounding ties to domestic terrorism, a racially inflammatory pastor, and birth place origins.... but consider "what publications do you read?" to be gotcha journalism.
