    Riot-loot-burn-murder-chaos is already happening. Seems weird to keep going with the guy who appears to be incapable of doing anything beyond throwing gas on the fire.

    anecdotally the SAT was not required to enter college at the time, unfortunately during Reagan the GI bill was changed to where soldiers had to contribute funds to go to college.

    I read through the comments, not one of you can show that her allegation was viable, not a single comment.

    It is true that Shriver didn't post hard evidence to back up her claim, HOWEVER she is the first hand witness to Joe Shapiro, which is far better than Mary Trump ALLEGEDLY getting second, third hand witness. Who are these people who allegedly told her he cheated on the SATS?

    Meanwhile I have yet to see anyone having read the last section of the article, which I will post in full here:

    ===

    "Mary Trump tried to defend her bogus claim during her interview with George Stephanopoulos by claiming it was some other Joe Shapiro.

    “You do have one potentially explosive allegation in the book. At least one. And you write that– when the president was trying to transfer from Fordham to Penn, he had someone else, a man named Joe Shapiro, take his SATs?” Stephanopoulos asked.

    “Yes,” Mary Trump replied.

    “This was 1964. How do you know that?”

    “I’ve been told this by people in my family,” she explained. “I am absolutely confident that it’s true. I’m happy to finally be able to speak about it. I also know that it was not the Joe Shapiro people have been focusing on, who just happened to be at UPenn when Donald was and who happened to be born in New York along, I’m guessing, with many, many, many other Joe Shapiros at around that time. But I stand by it, absolutely.”

    But, according to Raw Story, the Joe Shapiro who allegedly took Trump’s SATs for him, was, in fact, the Joe Shapiro who died 21 years ago, and whom Trump didn’t meet until after he started at UPenn. Other outlets have similarly profiled the late Joe Shapiro as the subject of Mary Trump’s allegation. It’s been over two weeks since Joe Shapiro’s widow debunked Mary Trump’s most explosive claim, yet no other Joe Shapiro has come forward nor has another otherwise been identified.

    Mary Trump nevertheless insists her claim is true, even though she can’t prove it. Mary herself doesn’t even know if the “real” Joe Shapiro is even alive."

    LOL.

    ZERO evidence comes from Mary Trump, yet some of you believe her anyway.

    Talk about low regard for needing evidence......

    Ha ha ha, did you forget the HEADLINE of this thread?

    The Media Is Ignoring a Huge Hole in the 'Trump Cheated on His SATs' Allegation

    Here right out in the open is the first words of the EXCERPT:

    "Since the release of Mary Trump’s tell-all “memoir,” a whole slew of allegations has been repeated unquestionably by the media and on social media. One such allegation is that Trump paid a proxy to take the SAT exam for him, helping him earn admission into the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School.

    The media has reported widely on the allegation."

    That was from POST ONE!

    :roflol:

    It NEVER says the media is ignoring this event.

    So what?

    Once again:

    We're you EXPECTING 9/11 Style Coverage?

    It is an Insignificant Story that in exists only on the radar of a very tiny RW Fringe Group.

    Are you suggesting that it becomes more heavily covered than the COVID Crisis?

    It seems to me like it is (essentially) a "nothing story" (that very few people (if any) care about).

    And, once again, it really warrants no more coverage than it has already gotten.

    Then you agree that Mary Trump shouldn't have made a probably defamatory claim against the President?

    No the story is getting a lot of attention since Mary Trump makes a completely unsupported allegation, one that appears to be a probable lie, one where she quickly waffles over which Joe Shapiro she is referring to, one she can't identify which Joe Shapiro is, she claims helped Trump on the STATS, when challenged.

    From the article again:

    "You do have one potentially explosive allegation in the book.

Mary Trump nevertheless insists her claim is true, even though she can’t prove it. Mary herself doesn’t even know if the “real” Joe Shapiro is even alive."

    ===

    From the New York Post

    "She said the two men did not meet until after Trump had transferred to the prestigious Wharton for his junior year, when Shapiro was an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania.

    “He went to University of Pennsylvania, member of the class of 1968. It was while he was at University of Pennsylvania where he met Donald Trump. They became friends; they loved the sport of golf. They shared the same hometown of New York City; they shared the same campus. They stayed in a little bit of touch through the years.”

    ===

    Ha ha ha, her credibility is quickly vanishing......

    No the story is all over the media, most of it is from leftists newspapers, shall I have to post that Washington Post, NYT covers it more than once?

    Yet they still make abortion a number one policy issue yet throw out everything else they claim to be. That is their hypocrisy. Bottom line, they are a political group, not a religious one.

    Great.

    It is anecdotal and people are free to believe her or not?

    That has always been the case.

    People are free to believe what they want.

    I see you are quickly backing out, which is fine.

    People believing in unsupported allegations are the ones who make life harder for the rest of us.

    I personally think people needs to be trained to insist on first hand evidence before making an informed decision.

    Anyone believing her have serious critical thinking problems, after all NO first hand evidence are evident in her book or from her gentle interviews.

    "People believing in unsupported allegations"?

    "unsupported allegations"?

    ^In other words, 99% of what passes for FACTS in Trump's Conspiracy-Laden World?

    Got it.:bored:

    Feel free to take the last word, there really is nothing more to add on my part.

    Carry on.:salute:

    I see you can't support Mary Trump unsupported claims, who made the allegations that Shriver is replying to.

    Now as YOU have ignored, Mary can't even tell us WHICH Joe Shapiro she is talking about..Again from the post one article, you keep ignoring:

    ===

    "You do have one potentially explosive allegation in the book. At least one. And you write that– when the president was trying to transfer from Fordham to Penn, he had someone else, a man named Joe Shapiro, take his SATs?” Stephanopoulos asked.

    ===

    Pam Shriver KNOWS her husband attended the same place Trump did, but does Mary Trump know it is a different Joe Shapiro attending the same place?

    Nope she doesn't know, which she admitted openly in the interview:

    “I’ve been told this by people in my family,” she explained. “I am absolutely confident that it’s true. I’m happy to finally be able to speak about it. I also know that it was not the Joe Shapiro people have been focusing on, who just happened to be at UPenn when Donald was and who happened to be born in New York along, I’m guessing, with many, many, many other Joe Shapiros at around that time. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhahahah!!!!!

    I think trumpsters have their work cut out for them trying to invent excuses for trump, but I doubt even they believe his bullshit anymore.
    It’s like Chinese water torture. 4 years of continual lies and delusional hyperbole like drips from a leaky faucet landing on their heads is enough to drive people to distraction.

    I see you didn't actually read my post. Please try again. I haven't supported her allegations. I simply pointed out you have a double standard when it comes to secondhand information. You say we shouldn't accept it when it comes to Mary Trump, but you accept it when it comes to Shapiro. Get it now?

    What do those numbers look like for other businessmen and businesswomen at the same level? Notwithstanding the breakdown in numbers, it seems that even 1,450 lawsuits is quite a bit. Further, just because a case is thrown out, does not mean it has no merit. I realize that people can bring frivolous lawsuits against anyone but it's clear that quite a few people have problems with his business dealings.

    Well here's a start...
    While Donald Trump had no experience in working in government or in public service when he became president of the United States, he brought an astounding history of involvement in thousands of lawsuits to the nation’s highest office. Former federal prosecutor and author James D. Zirin illuminates more than 45 years of Trump’s legal disputes in his new book, Plaintiff in Chief: A Portrait of Donald Trump in 3,500 Lawsuits, published in September 2019.

    You mention continual lies and delusional hyperbole while supporting a false accusation in a hyperbolic manner. Satire perhaps?
