The candidate that Democrats DO fear is Trump, because they keep trying to put him in prison for fabricated crimes.

Sorry, at this point if it's not Trump, the MAGA base is either going to write in Trump or boycott the election. That's the problem
when a political party that has a good portion of its base become a cult of personality.

And one way or the other, Trump knows if he's not elected, he's probably
going to prison, so even if he's not nominated, his ego and that fear will
make him try to get on the ballot some how.

IF Trump didn't get the GOP Nom., which is very unlikely, Trump would just blow kt all up and run 3rd Party...

Sorry, but Tim Scott is too dark to be a viable Republican presidential candidate. The base won't support him. Senator or governor, yes, but president, no.

Same thing goes for all the other nonwhite candidates. They're not going anywhere in the Republican presidential primaries.

And if stating such a simple reality triggers someone, that's their problem, and I can't help them with it.

DEMS defeated Trump by 8 million vote when Trump was POTUS. This time will be walk in the park.

Thank you for explaining it so simply for those Republicans who think their party evolved so much that they will nominate Tim Scott or Nikki Haily.

Hell will freeze over if Republican primary nominate an African-American or a brown woman. They might argue passionately that affirmative action are not needed because black , brown and white are all equal, but they will not nominate a non-white as nominee.

It is also dangerous to ignore reality . this is what trump will do if he is not the nominee. And no it is not my wish, it is what trump actually did last fall.

“And Stacey Abrams, who still has not conceded, and that’s OK,” Trump said of the former state senator. “Stacey, would you like to take his place? It’s OK with me.”

” … Of course having her, I think, might be better than having your existing governor, if you want to know what I think. Might very well be better.”

Donald Trump just kind-of endorsed Stacey Abrams for governor | CNN Politics

There aren't 8 million people in the electoral college. --- There was no election held in 2020 (only an installation via election fraud).

Trump was POTUS in 2020 , if no election held in USA in 2020, why on earth you want a dictator like Trump to be president again. Do you want democracy or have trump in WH forever?

    Correct.

No election was held. The motions of an election occurred, but what was being presented as an election faulted due to election fraud.

Trump is not a dictator. Biden is, though... He tried to force everyone working for companies with over 100 employees to get COVID jabs.

Neither. I want a republican form of government, as outlined in the US Constitution.

"... and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands... one nation, UNDER GOD, indivisible, with LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL"

Pointing out your side's bigotry is not bigotry, and it's really sleazy of you to claim it is.

    So, how'd Herman Cain do?

    Bobby Jindal?

    Ben Carson?

They were not candidates of quality comparable to Scott and Haley. I don't claim anything; I merely name what I see.

I have read many of your post so I know you are an intelligent person. I assume it is just wishful thinking and not intellectual analyses from your part that you think republican primary voter in the south are mature enough to vote for an African-American or a Indian-American over Trump or other white man.

But in reality , the GOP primary voter will not nominate Tim Scott or Nikki Hailey. I know you can’t see that because you are not bigot like many of the voter, you want to see people move ahead because of their ability and not their skin color. Unfortunately majority primary voters in your party don’t see that way.

Tim Scott and Nikki Haley both won elections in South Carolina by wide margins over white men. Case closed.

So Trump was POTUS in 2020 but the election was fraudulent.

Well, Trump can’t even run a clean election , why do you want such an incompetent man?

We, American have been running clean and honest election for 250+ years, then Trump comes and everything corrupt. Election is corrupt , DOJ is corrupt, FBI is corrupt. It seems like Trump is the only person who corrupt every thing or he is just pure incompetent guy who can’t even run an election.

Why do you want such an incompetent man in WH?

Aha winning a state and winning GOP primary is same to you.

I think your wishful thinking is clouding your judgment. You think someone like Nikki Halley won one state wide election and she can win national primary election.

I am sorry my friend, I know why you want Nikki or Tim to win this nomination. You want true conservative like Scott or Haley to defeat trumpism and bring back republican to true conservatism. You are looking for a miracle , a Hail Mary . I am sorry, no Hail Mary or miracle going to save republican party from Trumpsim.

Fact is , republican party took this path the day John McCain unleased Sara Palin in National Politics. Sara Palin, Glenn Back , Hannity paved the way for Trump. And now it is too late to bring your party back to reaganism.

OK now I've figured out why Tim Scott is in the race.

The Mystery of How Tim Scott’s Campaign Is Spending Its Millions

Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina has more political money than most of his Republican presidential rivals, and he has not been shy about spending it.

Where that money is ultimately going, however, is a mystery.

Mr. Scott entered the 2024 race with a war chest of $22 million, and his campaign raised $5.8 million from April through June. In that same time, he laid out about $6.6 million, a significant clip — but most of it cannot be traced to an actual vendor.

Instead, roughly $5.3 million went to two shadowy entities: newly formed limited liability companies with no online presence and no record of other federal election work, whose addresses are Staples stores in suburban strip malls. Their minimal business records show they were set up by the same person in the months before Mr. Scott entered the race.

As long as we are stuck with Donald Trump, nothing can get any better. Trump is a curse, for the Republican Party and for the nation.

If we could get a decent candidate, we would have a chance of sending the Biden Crime family packing.
