Well no actually what should happen since the women want 100% of the right to choose abortion or not is that... if the man wants the child and the woman wants to abort, she should have to monetarily compensate him for his loss. If the man does not want the child and the woman does then he should have no responsibility to pay for it once it’s born.

That is also a valid point. Because if he doesn't want the child and she does, she can still stick him with child support after a one-night fling. I've seen that happen, lol.

Shifting responsibility to someone else is what abortion is all about. The innocent baby didn't do anything wrong, but pays the death penalty.

Actually there were experiments with mice many years back to see if a male could continue a pregnancy and they found the best place to embed the foetus was in the scrotal sac

I suggest that any male objecting to a woman who wishes to abort can volunteer...........

At what point do you consider that unborn child to be a human life?

I predict that the court will not overturn roe vs Wade outright but will simply allow more exceptions, limitations, and restrictions on it. They could limit them to prior to pain threshold being achieved and ban 3rd trimester ones except to save the life of the mother and codify protection for babies born alive after an abortion attempt fails. They could allow for parental notification and waiting periods and prior sonogram viewing. Then they could leave the rest intact.

No trolling, women are the only ones who can decide if they want a child. Men don't have that right. That's the logical conclusion. Thanks.

A Roe decision will have no significant impact on the next election unless you count its usefulness as a fundraising tool - for both parties.

And what if the couple is not married and the father wants to put up the child for adoption but the mother does not? Why should the father have to pay child support? What right does the government have to interfere here?

The government's decision to marginalize fathers has had a deleterious effect on every level of society, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan warned what would happen back in 1965 when Washington was enacting the Great Society and War on Poverty programs that are responsible for marginalizing fathers:

From the wild Irish slums of the 19th century Eastern seaboard, to the riot-torn suburbs of Los Angeles, there is one unmistakable lesson in American history; a community that allows a large number of men to grow up in broken families, dominated by women, never acquiring any stable relationship to male authority, never acquiring any set of rational expectations about the future -- that community asks for and gets chaos. Crime, violence, unrest, disorder -- most particularly the furious, unrestrained lashing out at the whole social structure -- that is not only to be expected; it is very near to inevitable.

    Does this look familiar?

    It sure does.

The answer to this problem is not to outlaw child support, but to outlaw child support to single women who do not have the father's consent to keep the child. If she wants to keep it over the father's objections, then that is her decision and she has to take responsibility for that decision alone. It's the only way to level the playing field between mothers and fathers and disincentivize out-of-wedlock births.

So you prefer to turn people into slaves to the state vs allowing a bundle of unaware cells be stopped from growing? Fascinating

And y'all are the same ones screaming people were taking away your bodily rights by asking you to wear a mask for 15 minutes in a store but you have no issues demanding a woman sacrifice her health, finances and career (possibly her life) for 9 months?!?

My suggestion of outlawing child support was completely a reductio ad absurdum. I actually don't want to do away with child support. Just so my position is clear.

Although, your suggestion does seem logical.

False dichotomy. They could get jobs and raise a family, like many others do.

It's a choice most women choose when they choose to have sex. It's a choice men make when they choose to have sex as well, to the extent that they're at risk for acquiring a moral liability for their sired kids.

Isn't it odd that the party who screams the loudest about any taxes going toward entities that aid children , like Welfare and SNAP, is the party who wants to create MORE poor children???

Well, I'm not an advocate for abortion ...I'm an advocate for women having the same rights as everyone else.

Any pregnant man has as much right to an abortion as a pregnant woman.

Men have the right to bodily autonomy. They have the right to self defense.

So now do you agree with "women having the same rights as everyone else.""

Women already do have those rights. Without abortion. Men can't have abortions, either, if they're outlawed.

Now we know how babies are made, though. And we know that a fertilized egg is a human life.

:) ;) In your frustration are you being deliberately obtuse ?

If abortion is banned women will not have the same rights as everyone else.

Is that really too deep ? It is very simple..

If abortion is banned, women and men will not be able to have abortions. Same rights as each other. It's very simple.

Does that mean aborting a couple of minutes prior to birth is OK? One day prior? etc, etc.
