Seeing how the Senate refuses to pass the CR, I don't see how you cannot blame the Senate.

Who said the Senate refuses to pass a CR? They simply refuse to cave in to the demands of the terrorists in the House on a policy the terrorists cannot pass by legitimate means, and are threatening to harm our country as extortion. Which is what terrorists do.

They passed a CR on military funding so they can do anything they want but wish to shut down the government for political reasons.

That's what terrorists like the House Republicans do. They threaten or cause harm and damage if their political demands, which they cannot achieve through legitimate means, are not met.

How about the Senate terrorists that are doing the same thing? BTW, the Democrats brought this all on by filling an unrelated bill from the House with Obamacare and passing it with no Republican votes using a procedural trick never used for something this sweeping and against the majority of public wishes.

The Senate has not threatened harm or damage to our country if their political demands, which they could not achieve by legitimate means, are not met. Your own link showed it.

Sure they are. They demand funding for Obamacare. That is a demand.

Wrong. Obamacare was legitimately passed by the Congress, signed into law by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court.

There is nothing illegitimate about funding valid and legitimately passed laws.

Passed with no Republican votes, using a procedural trick, and passed by SCOTUS by judicial activism, changing the Administrations argument to something else. Even the Senate will not abide by the law passed.

It doesn't matter whether Republicans voted for it or not or whether you like it or not. ACA was legitimately passed by Congress, signed into law by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court. That is the way the system works.

It is not the Senate that is threatening to harm and damage our nation if their political demands, which they could not achieve by legitimate means, are not met. It is the terrorists controlling the House.

So the Democrats resorted to using the constitution to pass the bill, and make it law, you know the irony is that if George W. Bush hadn't been the worst president in history and so thoroughly tarnished the GOP brand, the Democrats would not have had the 60 votes in the Senate to get the ACA passed.
It really should be called WCare.....

Natterninnies pretending Democrats are responsible for the wacko birds' sabotaging government operations (from which the Affordable Care Act is, ironically, excluded) is especially amusing.

Their current tantrum against the 2010 Affordable Care Act aside, Americans are painfully aware which party tries to make government work and which is invariably antagonistic to its working, regardless of which they support.

In addition to their antipathy to self-governance, both the angry white guys' contempt for the first non-white President and their particular rage over his nationalizing the WillardCare reforms (that have proven to be very successful in Massachusetts) have been painfully obvious for quite some time.

For his individual-mandate-universal-coverage innovation, Willard never was subjected to this:

Of course, no one is suggesting they're racist. Perish the thought. They're just good ol' boys havin' a little fun.

Ah, the race card, the last bastion of defense for a failed leader.

I suppose that you could claim that the depiction of the President at a TP rally was photoshopped and fraudulently reported but, despite your defensiveness, I had noted "no one is suggesting they're racist. Perish the thought. They're just good ol' boys havin' a little fun."

Like I said, resort to the race card when you have nothing else.

You’re missing the point, or in denial, or trying to deflect what's staring you in the face.

Look, I’m just as tired of people talking about race as you are. Both sides are tired of the race component and race being brought up over & over & over again.

My sense is that every time someone on the left brings up race or racism, you guy’s on the right take it personal, you immediately get defensive because you feel as though it has nothing to do with you. Fair enough....

You might not care what color the president is or let it sway your opinions about him, but getting ticked off, at people trying to make a point, by posting the disgusting picture you saw, is not the answer.

And giving a one line answer & walking away from the conversation kills the conversation.

What would help………………..would be just admitting - yes, there’s a lot of idiots & racists that hate the president solely because of his skin color, there's no dishonor in that admission, and it’s not a reflection of who you are or necessarily the way you think.

I’m a lefty who thinks OJ was, and still is an @ZZ-hole that killed his wife and got away with murder…………there, see how easy it is?

Stop getting so defensive and try approaching things with an open mind.

Actually the race baiting kills the conversation, just like the usual proxy words like Rush, NRA, Koch, etc. That is by design.

    Nice,

So after everything I said, that’s all you could come back with?

Was I race baiting in that post?

Seriously dude, somebody asks you to just come clean on a topic with no name calling, no nastiness, no attacks, and the best you can come up with is:

“Actually the race baiting kills the conversation, just like the usual proxy words like Rush, NRA, Koch, etc.”

    Wow……………….ok, cool then….

Ok, what in the world are you talking about???

I was trying to say that I didn't call you any nasty names, and I wasn't nasty in any way in my post. All I wanted you to do was just admit to the fact that the picture is disgusting, and that yes.....there are racists in the Tea Party movement.

I think you guys are so used to screaming at each other in here that your all in fight-mode all the time.

I wasn't saying that you were calling anybody any names.

Take a chill pill and re-read both my posts and I think you'll see what I meant.

Yes, you are being calm. I have no doubt there are racists in the Tea Party just like I know there are racist Democrats. That is a fact of life.

Ok, so now that we've established that there's a bunch of racists running around, how about you go back and have a meaningful dialog with Natty Bumpo over the picture he posted instead of just saying that he's using the race card.

In other words, how about you sincerely have a back & forth with the guy that ends in some type of resolution to the disgusting picture.

OK, I will correct myself. He is trolling and is not interested in debate. Maybe you should go back and read what he posted. It is designed not to debate but to incite. Why try to debate someone that is not interested in debate?
