My 98 year old MIL uses a cell phone on a daily basis. I live in a semi-rural area where the MAJORITY of residents are SENIORS and all of them use cell phones.

However the ABC POLL was based upon a sampling METHODOLOGY developed in 2010 and it used responses that were TWO THIRDS for LAND LINES.

The ONLY question I have is in a poll where it is heavily BIASED by 2:1 in FAVOR of the Traitor-in-Chief is he doing so POORLY against Biden?

Think about it for a moment. The majority of those who picked up the phone were SENIORS but Inmate P01355809 could ONLY muster a 10% margin in his favor?

I would like to see a Poll done that ACCURATELY reflects the ENTIRE US population.

And guess what, we HAVE those!

They are called Special Elections and in the LAST 30 Special elections the Dems have WON 28 of them and there has been a SIGNIFICANT swing towards the Dems in ALL of them, including those they lost.

The CURRENT polling is based on RESPONSES primarily from the senior demographic. If you see an Unknown Caller on your cell phone the odds are you will NOT pick it up.

What we have here is Polling MISINFORMATION. I appreciate that Pollsters do their best to try and be as accurate as possible but when their RESULTS are this FAR off REALITY they need to rethink their methodology.

My decades of personal experience with Data and Trends tells me these results are SPECIOUS at best and MISLEADING at worst because they are setting UNREALISTIC expectations among the electorate. When the Polling is at ODDS with the ELECTION results it means the POLLSTERS are WRONG, not We the People. Unfortunately the Xtofascists will point at these INACCURATE polls and SCREECH that the election was "stolen".

We DESERVE better polling than is currently being produced. Shame on the media for NOT questioning these results that they PAID for.

Facts matter and when there is a GLARING FLAW in the polling methodology it MUST be remediated.

Funny how any poll that doesn't favor the left is somehow corrupt. How every poll that does favor the left must be accurate.
Seem the veracity and credibility are totally related to their agreement. Happens every time.

I think the most accurate is RCP averages when it comes to the presidential horserace numbers. The ABC poll is way out of line with all the other recent polls. Which makes it an outlier. But there has been times when the outlier poll was correct. 538 had a good article on this. Trump vs. Biden, I go with RCP averages. RCP did include the ABC poll in their averages.

When the RCP average includes an outlier this far out I have to question their methodology.

The problem with pollsters is that they always base their ASSUMPTIONS on the PAST.

What is happening in REAL TIME is the emergence of the GenZ voters that are being largely IGNORED in the current Pollster models even WITH data that they are overperforming already and show no signs of losing motivation to vote.

When 2/3ds of responses are from LAND LINES those polls simply do NOT reflect the REALITY that only 30% of American households still have landlines and those are SKEWED towards white seniors AKA the GOP base.

 

I hear you, but you’re basically talking about one poll, the ABC poll. This far out I don’t look at the horserace numbers that closely. They dynamic and change daily. What I look for is trends. The trend is there from the latter party of August to today, the trend is slowly moving in Trump’s favor. But trends also come and go.

 

Trump is beating Biden in the polls…. Get over it.

 

It doesn't much matter because neither trump or biden will be on the 2024 ballot.
