So then by this statement we need locker rooms for girls separate from women, and ones for boys separate from men.

 

And yet no one seems to care about that, and I've not see any fuss raised about it. Perhaps you have links to such? You are the one who is saying seeing naked people in locker rooms isn't uncommon, so what is it about the decision that is affecting others?

 

Societal norms are constructs and change constantly over time. Mixed sex nudity is not uncommon in multiple human societies. We even have nudist colonies here in the US were adults and children are naked and *GASP* no sexual assaults or other issues arise with any significant frequency

 

Again, your statement in making the implication that it is all transgender people who get such a surgery. It is only the ones who have a strong dysphoria who need that surgery. The gender identity exists in those that do not need the surgery as well, therefore, the surgery is not what is defining the gender. The gender already exists and in opposition of the body. The strength of that dysphoria determines whether the surgery is needed or not. Thus the genitals, taken away or remaining, do not define the gender.

 

When it changes let me know.

I think you are being overly specific with the word "right". Of course violating that "right" doesn't rise to the level of breaking civil laws but it breaks the right to civil discourse. The fact that people should be treated with empathy and without being rudely judged by strangers has broken down, especially since the rise of the orange sociopath, producing Karens of both sexes.

All three were used.

You are quite rigid in your thinking. Imagine if you thought of yourself as the opposite sex in the wrong body and you lived in a rigid society that didn't accept that notion. You would live with supressed feelings, play acting your entire life, not being happy. Then society changes and becomes more accepting of your feelings, giving you the ability to follow your prefered lifestyle. What does the rigid person with those feelings do? Fight the changes.

It doesn't matter how often you repeat your false assumptions about transgender people, it doesn't make them any less false. The fact remains that many transgender people never have surgery on their genitals (or sometimes, at all), and for those who do, that is never the sole or primary step they take in their transition process.

Also, if you really believed all there was to gender it the presence of particular genitals, shouldn't you automatically and unconditionally accept any transgender person who has gone through a full surgical transition as their new gender?

 

It's not my problem. If someone contradicts him-herself in a discussion or debate then I am obliged to inform him/her that his/her logic is faulty or just plain wrong. If that's "rigid thinking" I don't care. It's their problem.

Nope, it is you with the problem. Historically speaking people have been living as a "third gender", living as the opposite sex, for thousands of years in many cultures. It only recently became possible to surgically alter the exterior if they chose.
