    70%?:roflol:

I count 6 Threads (out of 25) on the First Page about Trump.

Since when did 6 out of 25 become "70%"?

    Is that the New Math?

By my math that is 24% NOT 70%.

    But, agreed.

Trump or any other politician (R/D/I/Etc.) should face charges if Tax Illegalities can be proven.

I am not one to judge either way. I support people like Snowden and Julian Assange. If anything I think the republican hatred of whistleblowers is misplaced. I see them as protectors of democracy and the rule of and by the people.

The issue I have with the leftist leaks is that there are many politically motivated and blatantly misrepresented info being presented as leaks, that don't protect our democracy.

Not enough popcorn for that. Someone, please call Orville Redenbacher and tell him to get busy.

History is not going to be kind to the man that instigated an insurrection.

This article is from September, 2020. Why is this thread in current events?

The NYTimes piece is garbage. They make all sorts of misguided insinuations about his deductions despite having zero evidence of any wrongdoing. This is called tax avoidance. Everyone does it or pays someone else to do it for them.

Which is why politicians are under no legal obligation to disclose their tax returns. It's a custom, started by Nixon, who tried to use the disclosure to prove "I am not a crook" to the American people during the Watergate proceedings. He disclosed them the day before congress subpoenaed them.

This more recent right to privacy does not protect one from a court of law's subpoena for tax records.

I suppose they either had contact with some disgruntled inside leaker, or just conjured it up in their own mind -- either being par for the NY Times course.
