Trump voters think Trump is more trustworthy than their religious leaders. What does this mean?

I've honestly forgotten what we were talking about so you'll either have to remind me or take that as an answer.

Relating to the below. What would your opinion be if hypothetically, only religious people were included
in the 'religious leaders' data set, and also if hypothetically, say 90% of the 71% who trust Trump were religious?

He may actually be more trustworthy than they are but that's a pretty low bar.
Ok, an extremely low bar, more like a stick on the ground.

Are you suggesting they'd not finish the high hurdles race at the olympics for two years olds?.

Because of how large is the percentage of Rs, who support Trump. I didn't think the Evangelicals would make up a large enough portion of the Party, though I could be wrong. I tried to quickly look it up, now, but I wasn't seeing the breakdown, in these terms. One site said that Evangelicals, depending on how that term is defined, make up between 6% and 35% of the population, which is not very helpful. Then I got this, from Pew Research Center, saying that only 56% of Evangelicals, are even Republican:

Still, if we are including 35% of the country, then 56% of that would a little less than 19% of the country, which would still be a majority of Republicans, if all these Evangelicals supported Trump, which I don't think is the case. But, to be honest, I don't feel interested in doing the further required searching, to get hard numbers, in order to define just what percentage of Trump supporters are Evangelical-- wait! Could it possibly be that easy?

Nope, sorry. Thus just gives us another little piece; but the puzzle remains unsolved. This Evangelical support is as the Republican nominee, vs. the Democrat, Joe Biden.

Trump expanded his support among White evangelical Protestants slightly, winning 84% of their vote in 2020 after receiving 77% in 2016, when he ran against Hillary Clinton.Aug 30, 2021

    HIGHLIGHTS
As of October 2022, 48 million registered voters in these areas identified themselves as Democrats. At 38.78%, Democrats represented the single largest share of registered voters in the states and territories that allow voters to indicate partisan affiliation on their registration forms.
A total of 36.4 million registered voters identified themselves as Republicans, representing 29.42% of registered voters in these areas.
A total of 35.3 million registered voters identified themselves as independents or unaffiliated with any political party. This amounted to 28.55% of registered voters in these areas.
Approximately 4 million registered voters identified themselves as members of other political parties. This amounted to 3.25% of registered voters in these areas.
In the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden (D) received a combined 53.5% of the vote to Donald Trump’s (R) 44.7% across these states and territories. Both candidates received a larger percentage of votes than the percentage of their respective party’s registered voters.
Independent and third-party voters made up 31.80% of all registered voters in these areas, while independent and third-party presidential candidates received about 1.9% of the vote nationwide.

Either or both. I have no idea. I just offered a possibility.

If you referenced that word with Trump or Trump Supporters, several posters will complain to the mods and the post will be deleted. YOu may even get an official reprimand from the mods. So, don't use the word when referencing Trump or Trump supporters, per the mod's rules on this forum.

Which is not to say anyone here is a member of that cult. Sympathizers certainly but not actually cult members, that requires a tattoo.

It's weird to me that at 84% of Dems still claim that Bribed Biden's corrupt Administration is "ethical". Does this indicate a cult like belief system or something?

Hunter Biden's "Business" Exchanged Over 1,000 Emails With Vice President Biden's Office.

I'd say that Trump voters are probably sensibly skeptical of religious leaders, and as for Trump, they know that they can trust him because Trump is smart enough to know that if he crosses them that they will not tolerate it.

The problem with the left is, they believe their own media and leaders too much and don't understand Trump voters at all. That's why Trump won in 2016 and could win again in 2024.

Yeah but what does this have to do with Trump supporters trusting Trump 29% more than they trust their religious leaders?

Interesting how you don't question the left questioning their religious leaders but you hold a different standard to the right questioning their religious leaders.

Prophets Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, Ibrahim, etc. are my religious leaders. May God honor them all and grant them peace. :)
Donald Trump is an idiot with no religious connection whatsoever. May God punish this fool for his arrogance!

I'm looking for examples of them questioning their political leaders. 84% claim Bribed Joe's Administration is "ethical"? That strikes me as cult-like.

@independentthinker referred to "the left questioning their religious leaders" which I found interesting.
