Mösyö Robinson we are even worse than ISIS. Mohammed Atta would have been an angel compared to what we are capable of doing. We're that evil and that merciless. I think we are the serpent that gave the apple to Adam and Eve.

Ok so no idea where to put this but apparently Turkey needed not bother, Strava a Fitbit tracking app published locations of secret US bases.

Strava just published details about secret military bases, and an Australian was the first to know

This is no longer a secret. This system is for sale and Russia has different systems. The period when technology really was an issue was a couple of decades ago, when war was only hypothetic. But modern situation is not about a possibility of war but when and which weapons and where will be used.
The American failure in Turkey is dramatically changing the whole project in ME. Before that Syria could be divided between the major countries of the region with an ISIS in between, but now it is just impossible.

I myself as a person find the fight of kurds for their state as a justy aim, but they picked completely wrong allies and methods for that. The aims of Turkey are also justy and the only way they could come to a compromise was negotiations and peace. They were a brave side fighting with ISIS from the beginning. But it will only get complicated now. The only way is to stop all the hostilities ASAP and start the negotiations, which will be long and difficult. All the countries involved need firstly to respect the safety of all the other sides, and secondly they need to take obligations on inevitable democratic reforms. It will take time and efforts, but these reforms are needed in Turkey, Syria, Iran and KSA. The countries need to give peaceful alternative for the people who are fighting for these rights with arms at the moment. Kurds need to get the rights and not the state of their own. Otherwise there will be a next level of war which threatens them as a nation.

Russia, the USA and probably EU and China need to play arbitrary roles in these negotiations and shouldn't gain any profits except for peacemaking fame maybe.

This Strava app disaster probably deserve it's own thread... but I don't start or have time to manage threads and no one is talking about it.... or everyone is talking about it but behind closed doors.

Here's more...Nathan Ruser reckon you can check a track run on the Strava map... link it to a Strava profile then crosslink to a social media profile from there. If this is the case it means personnel on secret CIA bases like the Mogadishu one above can be identified if they have social media linked to their Strava profiles... What a ******n disaster.

So? I doubt the bases are BIG secrets. And what difference does it make? Who is going to attack them? Other then terrorists (who I guarantee you already knew where they were), no country would dare attack a known U.S. military base.

I bet you if I spent 10 minutes on the right websites, I could find the same locations with little difficulty.

This is just Erdogan stamping his little feet...again.

The price for such kind of weaponry is a part of political deals and of course there is no exact open information. I saw estimations around 500 mln USD for the division of S-400 sold to Turkey. As long as we have growing relationship with Turkey in Syria and partnership for gas pipelines, I think this price has a huge discount and there surely is a cost of service. In this deal the most part is prevention of a big war in ME. What happened to ISIS was mainly anti-terrorist operation. ISIS was stronger than any terrorists have been before, but still it was not a state. The war between Turkey, Iran, KSA, Israel in any configuration would be much worse.

I don't think we'll need to service it. Just stick it in a museum somewhere.

    Huge discount sounds great.

No...I just don't think they are secret bases...I think most/all of them are common knowledge as to where they are.
