I’m also a firm believer that if he wasn’t chased down and threatened to be murdered it also would have precluded any violence.

Contrary to MSM predictions, the verdict in the Rittenhouse case will empower black Americans and the supporters of BLM.

"This case has nothing to do with race. It never had anything to do with race. It had to do with the right to self-defense," the 18-year-old tells Fox News host Tucker Carlson in an interview set to air Monday night. Rittenhouse is white, as were the men he shot.”

“"I'm not a racist person. I support the BLM movement, I support peacefully demonstrating," Rittenhouse tells Carlson in excerpts of the interview released by Fox News ahead of its airing.”
USA TODAY, NATION, Kyle Rittenhouse says he's 'not a racist person,' backs Black Lives Matter in Fox News appearance, Associated PressAP, 11/22/2021.

I agree. The white mob that attacked KR was intent on the violent and destruction of another black American community.

The murder of Emmitt Till was one of many brutal lynchings carried out after the "Mississippi Plan" was embraced to deny black Americans political power after the Civil War.

“Emmett Louis Till (July 25, 1941 – August 28, 1955) was a 14-year-old African American who was ***lynched*** in Mississippi in 1955, after being accused of offending a white woman in her family's grocery store. The brutality of his murder and the fact that his killers were acquitted drew attention to the long history of violent persecution of African Americans in the United States. Till posthumously became an icon of the civil rights movement.[2]”

“Well, what else could we do? He was hopeless. I'm no bully; I never hurt a ****** in my life. I like ******s—in their place—I know how to work 'em. But I just decided it was time a few people got put on notice. As long as I live and can do anything about it, ******s are gonna stay in their place. ******s ain't gonna vote where I live. If they did, they'd control the government. They ain't gonna go to school with my kids. And when a ****** gets close to mentioning sex with a white woman, he's tired o' livin'. I'm likely to kill him. Me and my folks fought for this country, and we got some rights. I stood there in that shed and listened to that ****** throw that poison at me, and I just made up my mind. 'Chicago boy,' I said, 'I'm tired of 'em sending your kind down here to stir up trouble. ****** you, I'm going to make an example of you—just so everybody can know how me and my folks stand.’” —J. W. Milam, Look magazine, 1956[36]" (*** mine)

OK. But, I saw a picture of him flashing the White Power sign while hanging out with the Proud Boys. I'm sure the BLM folks will be pleasantly surprized to hear he supports them.:)

I remember reading about this and seeing the picture of Till's mutilated body when I was a young girl. He didn't even look human when they got him out of that river. At the time I just couldn't understand why those two men would kill a young boy so brutally, just for whistling at a White woman.
This story is one I will never forget. Those African-American people in the Deep South lived in terror every day of their lives back in those times.

The Proud Boys are an odd bunch led by a black American. There are images of almost all of our leaders flashing the OK sign. I would like to know more background about that photo.

“The use of informants always presents law enforcement officials with difficult judgments about the credibility and completeness of the information they provide. In this case, the records obtained by The Times do not directly address whether the informant was in a good position to know about plans developed for Jan. 6 by the leadership of the Proud Boys, why he was cooperating, whether he could have missed indications of a plot or whether he could have deliberately misled the government.

But the records, and information from two people familiar with the matter, suggest that federal law enforcement had a far greater visibility into the assault on the Capitol, even as it was taking place, than was previously known.”
THE NEW YORK TIMES, Among Those Who Marched Into the Capitol on Jan. 6: An F.B.I. Informant, By Alan Feuer and Adam Goldman, Sept. 25, 2021.

It’s the reason his first lawyers were fired.

    https://www.breitbart.com/clips/202...oud-boys-it-was-set-up-by-my-former-attorney/

Rittenhouse said, “That’s a good question. I didn’t know that the OK hand sign was a symbol for white supremacy, just as I didn’t know those people in the bar were Proud Boys. They were set up by my former attorney, who was fired because of that, for putting me in situations like that with people I don’t agree with by having them set up for security without telling us their background. If I had known that they were Proud Boys, I would have said absolutely not.”

Banfield said, “So, to be clear, which attorney put you in that bar?”

    Rittenhouse said, “John Pierce.”

I don't believe Kyle's version of events. I think he knew those were Proud Boys and he also knew what the White Power sign was. It's just that after thinking about it, he realized it wasn't a good look for his upcoming trial.
So, he blamed it all on his attorney.
I hear he also wore a T shirt during this time that said "Free as F***". Guess he was revelling in the fact that he had been bailed out of jail. His old attorney didn't force him to wear that T shirt did he?:confusion:

Of course because you want to, not because you know what really happened. In this case calling Kyle a white supremacist gives you a warm and fuzzy even though the Proud Boys is not a white supremacist group.

Happy Thanksgiving! If you are traveling be extra careful. Appears to me drivers are twice as bad since Covid.

You know Jacob Blake was a menace to black people and the police that shot him did more good for black lives than all of the fit throwing?

Jakob Blake had a restraining order against him because he abused his girlfriend. If black lives matter Blake's can't.

I found this interview of Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys.

“When asked if the group denounces white supremacy, Tarrio said, “OK, so I’m going to say it to you. I’m going to give you the skinny. I’m going to give it to you straight. I denounce white supremacy. I denounce anti-Semitism. I denounce racism. I denounce fascism. I denounce communism and any other -ism that is prejudice towards people because of their race, religion, culture, tone of skin.”

Tarrio is a black American and according to Reuters an FBI and local police informant.

I find it funny that people claim the Proud Boys, a group with a Cuban leader, is racist lol. That’s a stretch that only the left can come up with.

Burners and looters shouldn't have been in Kenosha that night. That includes Antifa and BLM. Who should have been in Kenosha? Police and National Guard. Politicians cut them off at the knees. That is when a citizens duty is to take over. Kyle was that citizen.

All 3 of the guys in the Ahmaud Abery case were found guilty. (Today is November 24, 2021). The jury deliberated for a day and a half. Travis McMicheal, the one who actually shot Ahmaud, received the harshest sentence.
I feel justice was served. Ahmaud's family can have closure now.

Being a young man and not much of a News watcher....I think that will all change when Kyle finds out BLM is a Marxist organization bent on redfining America.

The BLM leaders are certainly Marxists. That does diminish the credibility and impact of the peaceful BLM demonstrations which IMO are fully justified.
OTOH, the riots are not intended to address systemic racism or any other social ill.
    Anarchy just generates more injustice.
