This is not about figuring out what went down on January 6th. It might be interesting if it was, but it was clear from the moment Pelosi declared actual Republicans persona non grata that this was going to be a show trial of the usual sort practiced by leftists at least since Robespierre.

Only thing surprising about this one however is shear level of incompetence thus far demonstrated by our would be kangaroo court. Nothing is ever nailed down before hand. Instead we see people testifying about office gossip that gets blown apart within hours of it being testified to, claims that Trump said bad things about our election which, by the way, are neither illegal or uncommon and some had be previously said by the same Democrats 6 years. Oh, for what it's worth if I had a dime for every time some one told me the system was rigged before Trump became President I could have reitired 30 years ago.

Not, mind you, that being incompetent morons should get them off the hook for their attempted hijacking of the election system, such as it is, but hopefully enough old guard Republicans will finally figure out that they are in the cross hairs to and we will finally see real justice visited upon these all to deserving jackasses for their multitudinous rimes against the American people.

On election fraud.... If they cheated once, they will cheat again... and yes once again, if anyone raises a question they will be squelched. I don't think Americans would say a thing about election integrity if there had been a honest investigation into the last election oddities... but no honest investigations were conducted... and this is after Trump could be investigated for spitting on the sidewalk...If election fraud was the root reason people showed up for January 6... why is the committee not looking into election fraud?....
As I posted before... it is odd that a secret whistleblower can walk in the doors of congress and spew out 2nd and 3rd hand hearsay garbage and her word is not to be questioned... while common folks who signed sworn affidavits to witnessing voter fraud and they are poo pooed out of the court..

It is clear that the mission of the U.S. House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol is to expose why the Trump goons did what they did, who provoked it, and other aspects of the efforts to sabotage a democratic election. Thanks to the sworn testimony of so many conservative Republican officeholders and Trump regime insiders, it is fulfilling that mission admirably.

A measure of the Committee's success is the hysteria of the weird worshipers who desperately wanted it to fail.

Meanwhile, the paranoid delusion that the Cry Baby Loser's Big Lie - that he had won in a "Landslide!" ("bullshit" as his Attorney General assured him) as inculcated in those gullible enough to swallow it - continues to wreak havoc on America,

The Cry Baby Loser constantly lashes out at others rather than man up and face the consequences of his insipid behavior, of course.

If anyone needed to pretend the Committee was not succeeding, there's the proof to the contrary.

That is just it: No one really cares. At least not the majority of the American public. Everyone knows this is a phony baloney "hearing". It is a circus and political stunt.

It is clear from the above tripe fest that you have no idea what's going on and really don't want one.

Denial is an option that the weird worshipers can apply to the U.S. House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol that has been so successful in eliciting the sworn testimony of so many conservative Republican officeholders, Trump regime insiders, and other patriotic Americans.

As Representative Kevin McCarthy assured the nation, the Trump goon attack on the Capitol has not been swept under the rug.

Trump is far too pathetic to merit hatred.

He's far too morally feeble to honestly accept the reality of his losing, and so he persists in his fantasy that he pulled from his butt that he won in a "Landslide!" despite all the Republican governors, Republican secretaries of state, and other Republican election officials - after recounts, audits, and failed court challenges - assuring him of his irrefutable defeat. Not only have his lickspittles contrived no credible evidence in the past twenty months, they have been unable to name a single suspect in their unprecedented vast conspiracy.

Only losers can swallow the inane, egomaniacal ravings of the Cry Baby Loser.

All the patriotic Republican officeholders and Trump regime insiders giving their sworn testimonies are exposing the truth, while those desperate to conceal it refuse the opportunity to come clean.

Should Trump run in 2024 we will almost certainly be in a full blown civil war by 2025. It won't last long and it won't result in Trump winning. It might even be a good thing as it will possibly make Trumpism illegal but it will hurt lots of people and cause lots of damage to the country. Much better to have him convicted of insurrection and unable to run again.

I did apparently you missed it. The Incompetence was in calling Cassidy who has no first hand knowledge of
anything without calling any of her information sources or the people actually on the scene. That simply announced to anyone paying attention that their little event needn't and shouldn't be taken seriously.

The Committee had had informal conversations with Pasquale Cipollone before Hutchinson presented her riveting testimony concerning her first-hand observations as well as what she had heard others recount. A significant aspect of her revelations concerned direct conversations with Cipollone, and other statements she had heard him make.

Subsequently, Cipollone agreed to formally testified, and reportedly did not contest anything that Hutchinson had said.

House Select Committee spokesman Tim Mulvey said that Cipollone "corroborated key elements of Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony."

You know that didn't happen, right? She bounced two names that may well end up being defendants at some point and Kiss-up Keven pulled everyone else.

    Facts, you should get some.

Jordan, obviously, would be prohibited from participating due to a direct conflict of interest - his being a member of an investigative committee before which he was subpoenaed to appear. If appointed, he would have had to recuse himself.
