Has nothing to do with Facui. That man lives rent free in your head.

But, but.... it's just like the flu.

If these delusional people wouldn't be so dangerous, it would be actually funny.

Interesting. Notice the relatively large decrease in the death rate after the Spanish flu. Could the same thing happen after Covid? The chart doesn't say. Like most charts on the internet this one is designed to promulgate an agenda. Could be meaningful but perhaps not. We don't know. The left is trying to maintain its power and control over the private lives of Americans. They seem to be unwilling to give it up for some reason.

Both sides push their agenda and both side wish for nothing more than to maintain its power and control over the private lives of Americans.

With that out of the way, I am not surprised that the death rate would fall the year after a pandemic. While we fight against them for good reason, they are also natures way of culling the herd of the weaker
    members.

Also, not sure about back then, but this year a lot of people are still being very cautious.

One wonders about the numbers in the graph. In 1918 no one needed to be told about the pandemic by the media as 1 in 10 died of it. Everyone knew someone that died of it.

Ah, understood. You fotoshopped that from ur imagination & now u got to make up some kind of prestigious source to impress us.

Look, every year about 5 million people in the U.S. die of various causes while slightly more than that are born or immigrate. 16% of 5 million is almost a million & there's no way in hell ur going to convince us that a million folks died of the covid in 2020 above what would have happened. One possibility is that y'all are using some kind of 'spooky math' to calculate ur "% above/below normal" but, so far you're opaque as to what ur doing.

pse let us know when u get ur act together.

I don't know, I don't have an account. I was just offering a bit of helpful Google-Fu because I think sources are important too.

The sides are government vs the rest of us. Are you trying to control the government? It is certainly trying to control us.

The only argument I made was that the chart was incomplete and aimed at an agenda. Do you disagree?

Caution is good so long as it doesn't overtake common sense and evidence. The reaction to this virus has been hysterical to the nth degree. Most people are cautious in the light of being mislead. I don't blame them for that. I blame government.

I am not sure in what way it is incomplete.

    My post from April 15th...http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/excess-deaths.579933/page-18#post-1072569689

According to the CDC....In 2020, approximately 3,358,814 deaths occurred in the United States (Table). The age-adjusted rate was 828.7 deaths per 100,000 population, an increase of 15.9% from 715.2 in 2019. The highest overall numbers of deaths occurred during the weeks ending April 11, 2020, (78,917) and December 26, 2020 (80,656) (Figure 1). Death rates were lowest among persons aged 5–14 years (13.6) and highest among persons aged ≥85 years (15,007.4); age-adjusted death rates were higher among males (990.5) than among females (689.2).

    https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70...m 2019 to 2020, the,(91.5 deaths per 100,000).
