in my experience, men that are happy in their relationship don't go around bashing women. Nor do they stereotype whole continents of women. Me thinks someone is padding his resume...
Not all women are the same anymore than all men are the same or all kids are the same and you're right - personality certainly does come into the equation.... to me, that and having a sense of humor is a real attraction, along w/integrity and character....... No, not all women want to spend, spend, spend. You're meeting the wrong women... and where are you meeting all these wrong women? I hope not in the bars... lol. As far as a gal thinking a guy is a 'chithead' - that reminds me of this couple I know who have been married for yrs. She told me when she met her husband - both working at the same place - she said she couldn't stand him .... and I don't think he was to fond of her either. Anyway, time went by and as she got to know him better, the dislike faded, love bloomed and they got married...... Love can happen when you least expect it.......
Bashing women is what the OP does. I was just trying to make the guys laugh. Like women making references to guys and football or farting. But (*)(*)(*)(*) it. Me thinks you all live in a trailer full of cats.
wait a minute..I'm not female bashing..women are the most glorious of all beauty on the face of this planet and the most level headed..us men are frigin idiots..I'm the first to admit that.. but you can't tell me a woman's feelings wouldn't be hurt if you gave a her an engagement ring out of a box of cracker jacks compared to a $2000 ring..come on, pony up..what girl wants a looser..no matter what, sex is going to cost you money.. be it dinner, a movie or gifts..it's all part of the game..and if gets more serious the dollars really start to ring up..then comes the real A kicker( marriage )I've done it twice and 50% goes out the window..I'm done.. from now on it's hookers for me..say what you want about all the soul mate chit and true love..been there and done it....hookers are sweet, make me happy and the next morning it's a good bye kiss, pay my tab and no more headaches..
What I do has nothing to do with my personality. You don't spend your time hunting down chicks from a specific profession unless you have some weird fetish. I wouldn't base your opinion of women on what you find here. I am not the rule, but there are more women like me. Whether that is good or bad depends on what turns your crank. There are levels of respect. Most people have a chance until they (*)(*)(*)(*) it up. If you do not think a guy is respectable because he's not a jackass, well, you're on a path to (*)(*)(*)(*) it up if you haven't yet. Terrible job. Way to try to suck up instead of sack up. And people are inherently stupid, so no need to be hard on guys. I can. Why would I care? The ring is just a traditional thing and not very important. A guy that doesn't spend a lot is not a loser, but pretty (*)(*)(*)(*) sensible. If a chick wants an expensive ring, have her contribute the amount of the ring extra to the down payment on the house. In Vegas. That's part of the traditional BS too. If two people are dating, each should pay every other time or when they choose the restaurant/activity. It's called a prenup. LMAO.
actually, prostitution is illegal in Clark County, NV (Las Vegas)...just saying....and don't ask me how i found out.
I usually have better luck when I have enough money. I guess being able to bear true witness for short term relationships that involve sex on the first date can really get some chics going.
I'd have to agree with Gov., not really understanding the "fighter pilot chick" thing as a turn-on. Most pilots are egotistical (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s... and I'm not kidding. If I must choose a profession more suitable for relationships, it would be someone in nursing.
what's wrong with egotistical? most divas can back it up. nurses are over-rated. they lead female dominated professions in alcoholism, drug abuse and emotional problems. sure that makes for a fun first week, but shuttling them back and forth to work because they got their 2nd DUI can be a drag.
Maybe to outsiders, it might seem cool; but having been in the profession most of my life...I'd never date another pilot. I don't play second fiddle.
second fiddle is when there's another guy in her head. hung up on somebody that she use to know, competing with the ghost of her late husband...yadda, yadda, yadda. if you're expecting to always be the center of attention, you might be a lonely pilot!
That's why we're good at what we do. LMAO, so when she has her inevitable mental breakdown, she can cleanly remove your spleen and balls. Me either, at least not in the military. Don't dip your pen in the company ink. Airline pilot? Probably. Neither party in a relationship should. I think Herk needs a hug.
Excuse me? You're marrying an M.D., not a bell hop... you talk a good game about status not being important yet you're marrying someone in a high status field. I want the upper hand in the relationship...the bread winner. Less chance of someone leaving on a whim. This notion of "equality" is horse hockey. In any relationship, there's an alpha and a beta. I don't expect them to walk 3 paces behind me like a geisha girl, but you get the picture. Call me old fashioned.
