When is the rep board/links going to be back, if ever?

When or if they will be back?

Is the rep list being tabulated somewhere?

PF could post a thread here and list with the current standings of the rep board and the links until they can put it back on the front page.

With no links, the navigation here is certainly not user friendly.

 

I noticed the announcement said "for now" and now that part is gone.

AND when are you guys upgrading to VBulletin 4.1?
Is that when the stats are coming back?

What is going on?

 

3 days without this board is pretty telling.

What's the secret? Why is it not back and why is there no explanation about where it went, when it will be back or if it EVER will be back?

Those of us who are your "customers" deserve at least that much when you are, at the same time asking for our donations.

 

Yes, now it just says they have been taken offline.

Not very promising is it???

 

Well, there is a process going on to trim the database and then an upgrade to V Bulletin 4.1.
After that the stats hopefully will be back. The owner shouldn't underestimate how popular they are.

Top Posters love it, and reppers love it too.
Also people like to find the hot threads. These things are very important to the members of the forum and staff knows this.

To the owner:
Please understand that the stats are a part of what makes PF run. People like them and find them useful.

 

In my fine opinion, the top reps have been a farce for years.

They have historically been manipulated and currently reflect nothing more than a popularity contest. As they are wholly skewed to one group who systematically reps each other they certainly are not indicative of anything more than planned mutually assured reinforcement.

However, I do say bring them back. I use it as a standard that is inverse to it's intent.

 

Someone sounds a little upset that, despite posting more than most, he/she is never on the board.

 

Sounds like sour grapes to me. There is nothing stopping you and others from repping. It's equal opportunity that evidently you don't choose to partake in.

I also miss the other parts...the links, the top posters...all of it.

What makes you think they are not earned? If they were given, the sender must think so. Are you the rep police now?

I really like knowing which threads are "the hottest" and what threads I might have missed reading. The rep board is just part of it but it does go to show how generous the conservative posters are in sharing their reps.

 

The system must not have been a farce, back then.

Mods, site owner...what is being done and when can we expect these things back. I know they are upgrading the server, but what is the approx. percentage of chance, we'll ever see those stats again?? 50%, 25%, 0%???

 

I wonder if enough liberals complained to moderators that they were never on the board, so they decided to take it down?
