It's not gonna happen now matter how hard you wish it to happen.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this thread.

There is really no way to "Tax" this without removing freedoms and privacy from American citizens.

We surrendered plenty of them for The Pat Act.

At least this would benefit all citizens.

So....surrender even more freedoms and privacy to get a trickle of the money needed to build a wall that wont work, few want, was supposed to be paid for by Mexico, will end up costing taxpayers billions and is nothing more than the result of campaign bluster.

This sounds like a horrible idea.

The link has nothing to do with Mexico in this context; people who want to transfer funds to Mexico can do it through another country, pay the wire transfer fee and still get the money to wherever they want. It has nothing to do with funding the wall as you may believe. Either way, Mexico isn't paying for the wall regardless of what you think the article says.

Of course it does, you just don't want to see the obvious.

If all money is taxed as it leaves the country, which already happens, then it doesn't matter where they send it.

I guess we simply disagree with government taking our money for ignorant and political reasons. Just understand you no longer get to complain of government waste or the upcoming debt ceiling/budget mess.

    Why's that?

Because I agree with taxing outgoing monies?

No...because you agree with spending a billion dollars on a project that is not needed, will not work, will be paid for with your taxes and is nothing more than a hollow campaign promise from a crazy old man.

    Supposition.

Besides, I'm doubtful the Wall will be built anyway.

Of course a wall will work.

It already worked in San Diego.

It's a hope of mine for a border made of something other than Swiss Cheese, but Special interest groups, & weeping / gnashing of teeth, combined with Congress' Maple Syrup in January movements & incompetent recent history, tells me it's not a sure thing.

Republicans will support it if they want to be re-elected.

74% of republicans and republican leaning independents support the border wall.

    http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tan...-s-border-wall-doubt-mexico-would-pay-for-it/

You'd think more black folks would support it, since illegal aliens primarily take their jobs.

51% support shutting down the government to get it done.

    https://morningconsult.com/2017/08/30/republicans-dont-want-shutdown-unless-funds-border-wall/

In 2006 all the Democrats supported it. They only don't support it now because Trump wants it.

    LoL yeah.

    My two favorite wall moments:

the Pope: "christians don't build walls", Trump points to the walls around the Vatican

Obama: Part 1: Increases height of the fence around the white house. Part 2: Moves into house in DC, immediately builds wall around house.
