Got that, white, liberal, union teachers? You're racist. That's why you're suspending these black and Hispanic students more than your white and Asian students. It couldn't possibly be caused by the fact that black and Hispanic students on average underachieve relative to their white and Asian counterparts, and are more likely to engage in disruptive and/or criminal activity. The issue is that you're just not culturally sensitive enough to understand why they are behaving the way that they do.

I like how they're planning to eliminate the "non-violent suspension gap" by 100% in just 4 years. So in 4 years, they can't suspend blacks and Hispanics more than whites and Asians, regardless of whether they deserve to be suspended more, or not. As is their custom, progressive Democrats want equal results for their groups, even if they don't earn it or deserve it.

Oh, and how did whites become a minority in Minneapolis?

 

Why stop there? Why not eliminate a gap in grades which must surely exist? Why not review every (*)(*)(*)(*)ing bad grade given by white teacher to a black or Hispanic to understand why white teachers do it to blacks and Hispanics, and undertake to eliminate the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing gap in just 4 years?

 

No idea, but the same logic can be applied, at least in some classes. Since the presumption here is that these teachers are racist and cannot culturally understand these students, how can they objectively grade them on something like a research paper? It might appear poorly written and gramatically incorrect, but that might just be the racist teacher's bias shining through.

 

They want to eliminate the gap between the races by treating the races differently. One problem with all this is that the (non-Asian) minority students will not learn how to behave properly as their actions will not receive the appropriate consequences, so when they get out in the real world, they won't be able to compete with the whites and the Asians in the job market. They really are engineering a permanent minimum wage at best permanent lower-class.

I don't know much about Minnesota so I checked the demographics. Blacks were, at the last census, 5.7% of the population. When I did my time in the military I met guys from Minnesota and Wisconsin who had never seen a black person. It doesn't sound like it's a lot different now. What's a ghetto in Minnesota, four black families in a six-block area?

But, it doesn't take much for liberals to get their knickers in a twist and lawyers collect on the corners soliciting bull(*)(*)(*)(*) lawsuits.

 

blacks have a higher poverty rate, high high-school drop out rate, more single-parent homes, higher unemployment.

that's why their kids behave worse in school.

 

Maybe we should go back to segregation. It would solve quite a few problems.

Every white parent in Minnesota should either sue the school districts for discrimination and/or pull their kids out of public schools. Private schools are expensive, but an influx of a few million kids would certainly lower cost.

Then the flip side of the coin also needs to be enforced no black or Hispanic teacher or principal should be allowed to suspend white students because they are more so racist against whites as whites are against blacks
