Two virulent Trump-hating house organs for the DNC agree. Well, shucks, folks! Aren't YOU convinced?!?!

    I vote for Condi Rice!
Love that woman! She looks like if you piss her off she’ll make you wash public toilets. And she hits liberal sweet spots by being a female and black.

We talk Joe Biden but mean Kamalalalala. At the risk of mansplaining I ask liberal women here.....

Are you staying with Biden waiting for him to fail, or are you tired of Democrat men lying to you about who they really want as President?

However, it goes without saying these Repubs can not be counted on to honor their word.

Not if they're dealing with Republicans. Perhaps the libs might have better luck.

"But Mr. McConnell has already made it abundantly clear that shame is not a consideration when it comes to his unbridled efforts to pack the judiciary with conservative jurists named by Mr. Trump, and the Supreme Court is certainly no exception.

In his statement Friday night, Mr. McConnell made no mention of the timing for considering nominees, a sign that he was calculating the best scenario for Supreme Court hearings and a vote, given that several Republican senators are facing tough re-election challenges, and a handful have suggested they would not want to move forward with a confirmation so close to the election."

“The Senate will continue to observe the ‘Biden rule’ so that the American people have a voice in this momentous decision on who to name to the court,”

Though she is being saluted for her accomplishments it is this quote alone that will be her legacy. A Supreme Court Justice who doesn't have faith in the founding law of the land. She is the worst Supreme Court Justice pick since Hugo Black.
Shouldn't? He has a republican senate. The Constitution allows him to do it.
True. He is likely to win reelection just based on incumbency.

No problem with her complicity in the lies of the Bush admin on Iraq?

“The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court justice,” McConnell said then. “Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president.”

That was McTreason trying to justify blocking Garland's nomination 9 months before the next election.

Liberals lie so much lately, I really don’t care anymore.

At first I thought Republicans should be honorable and follow the rules, especially if they are the ones who created them.
But then I remember this story:
During the riots in Chicago 13-17 cops were staying in the office of Bobby Rush, the D congressman, while looting was in progress just a few blocks away. And Bobby Rush even had the nerve to complain about the cops eating his popcorn. Also, knowing how Chicago politics works, I’ll never believe that this happened without mayor and superintendent knowing about it.

So, when it comes to honoring rules and laws for everyone, the riots and looting left so much bad taste in people’s mouths, that many will quietly cheer for Republicans shoving it to the Dems. Dem mayors and governors refusal to enforce public safety laws created the need for conservative court as the last defense against liberal madness.

I would say no. But the type of women who preform oral sex on their boss to get promoted can.

Today was not my day for clarity. Sorry. Really. It was directed outward from that post and not at yourself.

We don't presume gender identity here. Everyone is "they" unless the pronouns are announced.

That also says a lot about the integrity of the boss. Legally he'd be a complete genetically-enhanced moron to accept it, much less hire her, in today's age of #MeToo. Corporate lawyers would disavow and leave him holding the bag for fines and costs. And lawyer fees.

I don't want a woman because RBG was a woman. I want a woman for two reasons. 1) can't be Kavanaugh'ed; 2) women live longer than men.

Get someone in there who could be there for 30 to 50 years.

In theory yes you are right. But President Clinton received oral sex from an subordinate and many Americans thought it was nobody's business. So anxiously those who talk the right talk can get away with it.

This "hold off until the election or it will cost you Senate seats" ploy smacks of desperation.

The idea of sexual harassment totally disappeared in the Clinton Lewinsky case. Where did the "sexual harassment is rape" feminists go? Kamala being a willing participant as Lewinsky was is no less a victim of sexual harassment as are the other women who didn't get the job and promotions because they chose not to prostitute themselves.
