I am thinking that if we started busing all of these disease ridden illegal invaders to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.. that some on the hill may consider other options at the border.

 

Again, I'm not saying it's a good thing; only that there has NEVER been a time when some illegal immigrants weren't coming into our country. I am only saying that it seems that the practicalities of the current situation, likely made it impossible for us to deal with these numbers, for an extended period, and during a resurging pandemic, no less, without a few being released in our country. No, that does not meet the ideal. But the, "ideal," is probably unrealistic, in the present moment. All I was saying was that 50,000 out of a MILLION or more, is not as terrible as some on the Right are making it out to be. I have no objection to anyone talking about this; I just find it disingenuous to present the facts, as that immigrants are being, generally, "resettled," throughout the U.S., when that could not be farther from the truth.

Steve if you read the dialogue you will see that I did answer the questions. The proposition was based on a falsehood that people are unwilling to admit that there is a problem at the border. There appears to be dissappointment that I somehow didn't give the answer someone was looking for.

In my personal opinion, 200k being detained at the border each month is a huge huge number. That's 2.4 million each year, and that's only the ones they actually catch.
Within, say, a 15 year period of time, that would be 36 million total, equivalent to nearly 11 percent of the population of the entire country.
Might be more equivalent to 19 or 20 percent if you take into account age demographics.

 

You can't-- CREDIBLY-- blame Biden for all the immigrants who are trying to cross the border. He is doing everything that Trump was doing, and more, with the one exception of putting people in animal cages, separating children from parents, & scattering the kids, willy-nilly, around the country. These things, BTW, no longer could be done, due to public sentiment.

So blaming Biden for the size of the immigrant wave, is like blaming him for the strength of a hurricane, that hits us, during his tenure (or blaming Trump for there being a pandemic, as opposed to how he dealt with the pandemic). Do you follow the analogy?
