I didn't start this 'competition'. I made a statement and the Christian bashers made it a competition. Pay attention.

The answer is yes. I worked with one who always berating this woman for her lifestyle as he preached his Muslim hate of the west. The woman had to go to HR to deal with the slime-ball. This is the mosque he came from which is right up the street from where we worked......................

Nope. That's extremism, bigotry, intolerance....whatever you like to call it, it's wrong. Same is true of Christians who are offended by Muslims, and who constantly seek offence from Islam even when it isn't generally there among the overwhelming majority of Muslims. Judging Islam on that basis really is like judging Christianity on the basis of Westboro - it's taking one unrepresentative sample and generalising it to billions of people, which is just silly.

People are people - most are actually pretty tolerant of people who are different, but a few of them aren't (and they often tend to be the ones shouting loudest, of course!) - that's not exclusive to any group, it's just people being people.

 

When you can cite examples of Christian bigotry on the same level as Islam, get back to me.
