there could be any number of reasons beyond racial bias. also a lot has changed since the study ended testing.
is there a study that chooses black owned businesses to compare their bias? like i said, every race does it. you and the left just single them out and ignore everything else because theyre the majority.

I don't pretend to be an expert.

Some people DO acknowledge problems with racism in this society and others deny the same. If you haven't noticed that, you are either inept or dishonest.

Truth is that American 'culture' overall is clearly affected by racism that is embedded in its institutions and systems.

White culture has had a LARGE influence upon that which ails all Americans. But no... it's not 'color' we can blame; it's actually 'culture'.

    Really? (Come on.)

    An interesting perspective, here.

There is certainly a great deal of complexity in answering that question. I'll give you that.

Leftists can't answer that without descending into the use of bigoted stereotypes; thus engaging in the same behavior that they purport to abhor. It's soooooooooooo cute of them, because you know that they really WANT to say that stuff but won't let themselves do it.

Yes, I'm waiting for him to say something smart, like slavery or racism. I wonder if people realize that most people were never ever slave owners? That kind of stuff was reserved for the rich people. Poor people didn't own slaves. I also wonder if they realize that America is a "melting pot," and that most of us are related to immigrants who arrived here in America AFTER slavery was abolished?

They don't care because the leftwingers created a racism industry . . . and that's all that they really care about. Anytime you get money and freebie benefits flung in your direction merely because you shout "Racism!" you have got a really sweet deal going for you.

    It's complex, but it surely isn't non-existent.

I'm just sitting here trying to figure out what "my culture" is, and I really don't think I have a "culture." I like all different kinds of music, I eat all different kinds of foods . . . I celebrate Christmas, even though I'm not religious. What would my culture be? Maybe it's Red Sox nation culture.

The key is in your revised position you added the word " some" whereas in you original statement you ascribed denying racism to all of society because you omitted the modifier.

There we go again. First off, he IS a victim. Second, I live in an all-white private sector world. I am a client of some, and some are clients of mine. Defying all odds in a community with a 6-7% black population, NONE of us have black employees.

Why do you think it matters what race the person doing the discriminating is? What seems to matter to me is the harm done. I don't care about who we blame or whatever, I just want to reduce the harm.

The study is not 15 years old, it is from 2009. I don't think much has changed since 2009. If anything, racism seems to have been getting worse since then. But, there are many studies on the topic every year. I personally find the methodology of this one the most compelling, but they all find pretty much the same thing.

LOL! There is the problem right there. While you are sitting in your Ivory Tower and pontificating the plight of the poor black folks people like me live in an area that is a majority black. Classic case of being out of touch with reality. Come down from the tower sometimes and spend some time in a black neighborhood. It is eye opening. I like black folks. They are not much different from anyone else except liberals are lying to them.

because if it wasnt whites as the majority it would be some other race discriminating. there is just more from whites because they are the majority. you pretend whites are the problem and not discrimination itself. discrimination is a problem that will never go away especially not when you point at one race as the problem and encourage discrimination back at them and give a pass to other races that do it.

I agree. African societies were deathly unprepared for the radical changes Western society forced on them. If Africa were to have adapted naturally without imperialism, like Japan, then I imagine modern day African nations would be immensely resource rich and have prosperity on par with the Middle East and some Eastern European nations.
