Why did you cite Californian law?

I'm assuming that you would say that he should have been DENIED bail altogether in a JUST world, but that if bail MUST be set, then the extravagant figure of 5 million is reasonable/justified.

If your income is $30,000 a year and your bail is $5,000,000 most rational people would consider that to be overly excessive. But then, America is a slave nation and it will do anything to ensure that it has a steady supply of slaves. It hates the idea of equality and freedom for all of its citizens. You do know that slavery is still legal in America, don't you?

Read my comment in Post #17 =
"Unlike some States, the Wisconsin constitution does not prohibit bail, regardless of the crime.

    For example ="

I included the sections from the California and Pennsylvania State constitutions to show a comparison and contrast between States that don't impose restrictions on bail and those that do. Wisconsin has no exceptions in its constitution but some States do, like California and Pennsylvania. Therefore, the guy in Wisconsin was entitled to bail but his bail amount violated the State constitution because it was excessive, thereby forcing him to remain in jail in violation of his constitutional rights.

The Judge is required to set a reasonable, not excessive, bail. Suspects in Wisconsin are entitled to bail regardless of their crimes because the State constitution does not impose such restrictions as some other States do. Therefore, such a lawsuit as you proposed is frivolous and should be immediately dismissed.

Again for someone that stands accused of the murder of at least 12 people his bail is more than reasonable how much do you think their lives were worth?

Seems like you have sympathy for this man.

I'd tell you what I do with the sorry sack of excrement.... But I've come to understand we have certain rules around here...

Are you suggesting that a worthless pile of human WASTE like the Waukesha killer should have been in a position to be easily bailed out after killing those people?

It is unfortunate that you are having trouble supporting the constitution. In the past, the mob ignored the law and would storm jails and hospitals and grab suspects to lynch. America is supposed to value equal rights and fair trials but that is just so much propaganda and has no basis in reality. The nation's history of slavery and racial oppression is still a millstone around the peoples' necks. Maybe, if the country survives, it will finally realize its ideas in another 2,000 years.

The Wisconsin State constitution plainly says that he is entitled to be released on a reasonable bail. After all, he has not been convicted of the crime and he is presumed innocent at this time. Has he confessed to the crimes? If he has that could change things but, if not, it is just hearsay.

I'm sure that it's not quite as black and white as you're implying. I wouldn't be surprised if the law allows for discretion to be used in special cases, when we're talking about a SPECIAL kind of human waste like this guy.

And again the da seem to have no problems making it happen for those that were just merely trespassing on January 6th so do you want to try again

You can read the entire Wisconsin State constitution and see if you can find a section that supports your contention = https://ballotpedia.org/Wisconsin_Constitution

Please post the section when you find it for our collection education.

12 people are dead at the hands of this scumbag and you'd rather sit here and call people racist and virtue signal

That has a basis in reality but in your little reality you'd rather sit here and say people are racist.

I'm curious did you call Rittenhouse who obviously killed people who were trying to kill him, did you think he was justified,l?

Or do you only think of black man is justified to get in his car and mow down a bunch of innocent people at a Christmas parade?

Because so far that's exactly what it seems like you think is justified.

Why am I not surprised you would sit here and defend this piece of s***?

    His ass should be executed.

Screw his bail, it should come at the end of a hemp rope.

But we know why you have sympathy for him

I see that the brainwashing reciting the Pledge of Allegiance didn't remove your cobwebs about the need to ensure liberty and justice for all.

Shall we review the Wisconsin State constitution again?

    Section 6
    Text of Section 6:
    Excessive Bail; Cruel Punishments

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor shall excessive fines be imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.[1]

    Section 7
    Text of Section 7:
    Rights of Accused

In all criminal prosecutions the accused shall enjoy the right to be heard by himself and counsel; to demand the nature and cause of the accusation against him; to meet the witnesses face to face; to have compulsory process to compel the attendance of witnesses in his behalf-, and in prosecutions by indictment, or information, to a speedy public trial by an impartial jury of the county or district wherein the offense shall have been committed; which county or district shall have been previously ascertained by law.

The good news is that slavery is legal in Wisconsin so, if the guy is convicted, you can legally buy him as your slave for a specified time period.

    Section 2
    Text of Section 2:
    Slavery Prohibited
There shall be neither slavery, nor involuntary servitude in this state, otherwise than for the punishment of crime, whereof the party shall have been duly convicted.
    https://ballotpedia.org/Article_I,_Wisconsin_Constitution#cite_note-wi-1

Doesn't that make you feel better?

I'm sorry you missed out on all of those old-time lynchings but lynching still isn't a federal crime, so there's that.

The Rittenhouse case shows what life will be like without the Slave Patrol under the Defund the Police movement. People will be able to shoot each other at will, claiming that they are protecting something from the mob. The vigilantes missed out recently when they didn't gun down the smash & grabbers that raided stores across the country. Kyle showed them how to do it.

I'm not going to do that, I'm simply saying it it MIGHT be in there, and I'm willing to bet that you cannot say that it's not in there!

Well then I guess you need to ask why the DA was willing to put in the work for someone with the violent history that the driver had who had shown no remorse or respect for authority. With racist callings and affiliations.

But not to someone who simply trespassed on Jan 6th? Seems a bit odd...

In Post #1, you asked this question:
I have supplied some reasonable answers and given you some suggested links for you to use in answering your question. If you choose not to accept my answers or use the references to do your own research maybe we should move on to another issue.

As it says in Sirach 5:15 (CEB) = Don’t be ignorant in matters large or small.

& 1 Corinthians 14:38 (NKJV) = But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.

All of your ridiculous blather means absolutely nothing.

And your comments on Rittenhouse display the sort of people you would rather defend a man who would mow down a bunch of children at a Christmas parade instead of a man defending himself from pedophiles and criminals we know what side you bat for

Yes, I'm just saying that you cannot say that the judge definitely broke the law!

And that is the problem. Judges can make very wrong decisions and abuse their power, but little can be done about it because no one can say they definitely broke the law.

Whatever the case, I applaud the judge for doing everything in his or her power for keeping this foul piece of human WASTE off the street, even if it did involve a questionable judicial act.

It wasn't a "questionable judicial act". Judges do that all the time. They set the bail so high they think it is very unlikely that person can be released from prison.

1 to 2 million is pretty standard for a murder defendant these days. Higher than that if there's a near certainty they are going to be convicted. This guy had a long history of prior crimes.
