Thanks for the reality check. I thought I missed something somewhere but I can't say that I'm terribly surprised given...well, you know.

 

Just depends. Not a typical situation but I know a woman who was very obese and tall who didn't know she was pregnant for certain at least until not long before she delivered. Apparently she spotted during the pregnancy and tended to have an irregular period to begin with. Some people can rationalize away signs of what in retrospective were obvious clues I suppose.

 

Just in case you're not aware, a married woman getting an elective abortion in conservative circles in unfathomable.

Guess it's just routine and considered part of a "healthy marriage" in whatever social circles you are in?

I do not see how this story contradicts the statement that no woman would have a late term abortion for no valid reason. I mean, she did not even have an abortion, did she?

Furthermore, this srtory actually further strengthens the pro-abortion argument if it anything - realising you are pregnant can take time and pregnancy happens even when contraceptives are used.

Perhaps you could elaborate on how this is a case against abortion.
