    Well, we thought the assault weapons ban in MA was in violation and it was fought in court but sadly the ban was upheld.

    I believe that the Supreme court refused to grant cert which de facto means it stands but de jure does not mean that. I suspect with the fifth circuit EN BANC declaring the Trump; bump stock ban to be infirm on the grounds that bump stocks are not "automatic" weapons will go before the supremes due to a split in the circuit.
