It is not idle speculation. Not by a country mile. What is demonstrated here is liberal ignorance as to how things truly work.

Tracy Martin is an ex gang-banger. Trayvon was of his likeness.

If he was an habitual user it would be in his system for weeks. If he was not a habitual user it would be in his system up to 72 hours after use.

I'm not really interested in discussing this any further. However, you should re-read what I've been writing, as I'm not looking to convict anyone. In fact, I've stated my point of view on the case and many folks agreed with it.

However, you're last statement of 'but an excellent tool for promoting the police state', allow me to point you to the following thread, Police State USA, in where you'll see that I'm actively posting in that thread. I'm one of the last people you should think is promoting a police state, when I'm one of the advocates trying to show that there is a police state in America.

I have a soft spot for kids, man, and I cannot pretend that Trayvon's father did him any good for not being there for him. If that's judgmental so be it because I have known kids like Trayvon that just needed some love and a father figure to be firm and show them the right way in life.

I know this has nothing to do with the case, and I'll say no more about it.

We all could have done a better job of being a father. However, making the statement "Guys like Mr Martin are why misguided youth like Trayvon end up in jail or dead" is pure bull(*)(*)(*)(*).

Most fathers would probably agree with you....having a kid is probably the single greatest responsibility anyone can have. There are no perfect parents...some do try much harder than others.

Often I think though it the kid's friends that have the greatest influence on him.

As I said before, I believe Zimmerman was on the bottom because he was holding on to his hoodie attempting to drag him to the ground.

Well, Trayvon presented himself as a thug wannabe with the drugs and gun but that does not make him a thug. The truth is that he had every right to be where he was at the time as did Zimmerman. The law does not care if Martin was a thug wannabe or if Zimmerman was a cop wannabe.

I'm not saying that your statement could not have happened, but what proof do you have?

WTF are you talking about? A fact of life is sometimes people get divorced. You have no clue if Tracy Martin was good Father or not. Have you forgotten that Tracy's step son and Trayvon spent weekends with Tracy regularly. The older boy is well mannered and in college. Also, you have no idea what who or what Trayvon Martin. Suggesting you do is nonsense. You've essentially blamed Trayvon Martin's death on his father, Your comment is not only judgmental it is unjust and outrageous..

Jews and Asians weren't property. Sorry to dose you with reality there.

    - - - Updated - - -

Jews and Asians weren't as oppressed as blacks in the US. That oppression continues.

True but since someone was killed we must delve a bit farter into this scenario....aka not only did they both have a legal right to be where they were but exactly what were they doing there. Now we know of course that Z lived there and was performing a duty he had as a neighborhood watchman....to call and report to the police there was a suspicious person in the hood on a dark and rainy night apparently not in a hurry to get out of the rain. So that gives Z two reasons for being exactly where he was.

Now trayvon was supposedly walking home from the 7-11 but according to the time line it was taking him much longer than it should have taken him. But still he had a right to be there....legally speaking. But exactly what was he doing there? Why didn't he just go home? I agree with another poster who said the defense team will hammer on that most central question to this scenario.....the fact that Trayvon could have gone home.....come back....and gone back home several times during all the time he spent in the housing area. So logically the question areises...not of his legal right to be there...but as to exactly what was he doing there? Most acutely and most especially on a rainy night...who wants to be out in the rain...for sure when you are within 70 yards of your home(most do not understand he was so close to home) how many seconds would it have taken him to run 70 yards? Even if he wasn't a sprinter he could have easily done 70 yards in 30 seconds. 70 yards...not even the entire length of a football field...think about it...that close to life yet he chose death. Tragic.

Obviously you do not know much about history...............Jews were held in bondage in Egypt for hundreds of years.....Jews were the victims of Genocide in Europe...nothing the Negroes have suffered compare just to these two historical events...not even to mention the millions of other incidents and horrible scenarios visited upon the jews throughout the centures.

On the other hand no other group of people have been coddled and given so much stuff like the negroes....they did have it rather tough in Africa..but here in America...hardly....they should rejoice they were brought here.

Not to say they do not have problems...but for the most part problems they have brought up on themselves.

Martin has injuries inconsistent with attacking someone, Zimmerman has injuries inconsistent with an ongoing attack, the person on the phone said Martin was screaming for Zimmerman to get off him, Zimmerman says he fell and Martin kept causing his head to hit the ground.

Zimmerman never told the police he was being punched while on the ground, only that Martin was causing his head to strike the ground with no specific motion of how he did so. He says he has able to drag him back to the grass, Martin's legs and buttocks could not be on his abdomen because he said his jacket lifted up and he reached down cleanly indicating Martin was between his legs, also he could speak clearly to Good also indicating Martin wasn't on his abdomen because it would be tough to breath with that much force on you abdomen and chest area,
When he went for his gun with his right hand, Martin didn't break loose though he saw him reaching indicating he had his left hand gripping his shirt preventing disengagement, Martin's hoodie was extended from his body according to forensics indicating it was being pulled as Martin was not standing over Zimmerman, Zimmerman was able to get up immediately after firing the shot and didn't have to push Martin off which would have left Zimmerman still straddled either pushing dead weight Martin straight back or on to his side with Martin expected to fall into Zimmerman
I am a medic in the Las Vegas area, I know I see much more violence than you guys but use deductive reasoning. It is simple to break down the scene

Neither do you, but it didn't look like anyone was guiding him the right way in life. Somebody deserves criticism for that. You're going to disagree anyways, but I don't see it the same way as you do so whatever.

Well, I think most will appreciate your heartfelt concern....I think it does have a lot to do with this case. And tragically many kids black and white find themselves in similar situations with their home life.

    Very true.

Back to the case, who is expected to be the first defense witness tomorrow?

You stole my thunder but consider the source. He obviously has no clue about even the most basic history.

Your account here is your assumption, and not everything matches the limited facts/evidence in the case. Just because you're a medic doesn't mean you've seen more violence than everyone else here, either. I was stationed in the Middle East and saw an awful lot myself.

No, you are being closed minded.
Zimmerman is a man with no reason to tell a story that doesn't protect him but using logic and reasoning a person should be able to fill in the blanks.

I am encouraged that I have heard they are taking notes. This suggests they are hopefully going by more than just feelings. Also I believe two of them have CCW permits. This suggests at least two of them understand the need for and believe in self-defense. I do understand your position and that certainly makes the jury's decision less certain. Hopefully their decision will be based on the law and not on emotion as some here are hoping.
