    I watched a clip from CNN from yesterday where one of the CA Dem representatives was waxing poetic about how Trump had to fund more to combat the virus.... And after the bobble head at CNN failed to remind the Dem Representative from CA that was perhaps her job.. well, never mind. CNN and democrats can never be trusted to present a narrative that doesn't attack the office of the president while a republican is in that office.

    My thought to democrats and progressives on this board is, why haven't democrats, in a house that they control, advance emergency legislation for the president to sign to improve funding for the CDC.

    Time for democrats to put up or ****....

    Right. Like China is going to allow us to interfere with how they conduct their disease control operations. Highly unlikely in today's climate.

    And it is just as hypocritical for Democrats to ignore the lies and misleading statements without regard for objective facts made by Democrats.

    So don't lecture me without also lecturing those Democrats who pretend to care about the truth.

    We do not have uniforms and test materials to follow the government guidelines,we have sent our manufacturing capabilities to China chasing larger profits!!!!They make most of the worlds drugs,clothing, footwear etc, etc..

    Well if the libs get their wish and the outbreak can't be contained, maybe Trump will have to suspend the elections and declare martial law. :roflol:

    It appears Israel is close to developing a vaccine for the virus. If they speed it up a little they just might get it done before the Venezuelians, Cubans and Allah fearing nations do.

    The budget for infectious disease outbreaks would have been untouched by the proposed cuts.

    What goalposts? Dem politicians shouldn't lie, Trump shouldn't have proposed budget cuts to the CDC. There's no "fallacy" there. Budget cuts to the CDC are ALWAYS a bad idea. Trump wanted to cut it. In hindsight, that looks terrible.

    CDC should be a cabinet-level position with appropriate budget. I bet it turns into something like that after all this.

    Yes it is. Democrats are rooting for the economy to crash and people to die, all in the name of political victory. It's shameful. It's also telling that they all seem to be in lockstep on this ---- I haven't seen or heard mention of any prominent Democrat coming out in opposition and judgement of how the Democrats are "handling" this.

    "handling" what? Exactly?

    Trump"s "Team" doesn't even know enough to wear protective clothing.

    Trump's inept "response" may have actually increased the likelihood of the Virus SPREADING.

    Why would Anybody be blaming the Dems?

    Elections have consequences.

    Trump is the President. Whatever happens is on HIM.

    Like all Americans I hope for a swift eradication of the virus.

    Who knows?

    Maybe Trump gets his "miracle".

    That said, if this Virus becomes a Pandemic in the USA, Trump will be to blame.

    It is on him to step up and minimize the threat to public health.:flagus:
