yep, the AP does that, I expect them too, for dems or repubs, only reason this is news is it's usually Trump making false claims, false claims by Trump happen so often they are hardly news

that said, Trump did fire the pandemic response team and cut funding for the cdc in 2018

so when is the op gonna ask Trump to stop telling lies about this and everything else..... the people want the truth

Do you know how the President is going to come up with an additional 1.5 billion to 4.0 billion? The extra money is coming from funds that were left over from the e-bola pandemic. That tells me the CDC is flush with money. They may be doctors but they are no different than the Generals in the defense department who are always crying about they don't have enough money. Turf wars are not anything new in Washington.

 

Some of them won't accept or support those who don't accept they are male just because they are born with a penis...so of course verdicts, investigations etc of course mean nothing to them either. And of course saying "not my president" somehow changes election results.

You do realize that the only one making false claims regarding CDC funding is the left. Trump proposed cuts to the new fiscal budget, however congress ignored the request.

Cutting the CDC budget has been on the minds of the last 2 administrations, FYI. During the Ebola scare, which is vastly more dangerous, Obama even proposed slashing the CDC as the US should not be the only nation funding research to prevent outbreaks.
