    He did nominate in 2016, the opposition Senate said the President was a lame duck and weren't going hold hearings or a vote. The Dems said hearings should have been held, what is different now? And the Dems would be doing the same thing now if there was a Dem president.

    That is true, but when it spills so bloodily into the Judiciary, it exposes a fundamental flaw having its genesis is an outdated Constitution. The politicisation of the Judiciary is close to how, for example, the CCP works.

    No she was talking the President. The judge has to be confirmed and sworn in before he can be impeached and what would be the grounds to impeach anyway.

    The Democrats could fillabuster every single bill in the Senate making it impossible for them to consider a new Justice.

    There are many bills in the Senate where a filibuster cannot be broken and it's too late to change the rules

    The Democrats declared political war with Bush43 and with Trump the day he won the election, no bets were off including attempts at a political coup ending up with an impeachment through the Kavanaugh disgraceful hearings. And of course we can go back to Bork and Thomas. Then they pioneer the filibuster of judicial nominees against Bush and then reversed and pioneered the nuclear option to confirm Obama's. They NEVER tried to play nice and time the Republicans stopped trying.
